Cindy Crawford Spotted In Los Cabos With Family For New Year’s Eve Celebrations

World famous supermodel Cindy Crawford has been spotted enjoying a NYE vacation in Los Cabos accompanied by her family. 

56-year-old Crawford is on vacation with her husband, Rande Gerber, who founded the Casamigos tequila brand alongside George Clooney, their oldest son Presley Gerber.

Also accompanying the Gerbers are their daughter, model Kaia Gerber and her actor boyfriend, Elvis-star Austin Butler. The family were spotted soaking up the sun on December 29^th, with 31-year-old Butler hanging out with his 21-year-old girlfriend by the beach. 

While Kaia and her boyfriend haven’t posted anything publicly while on holiday, Crawford posted a snap to her Instagram of her wearing a white robe and sitting by a palm tree, captioned ‘Out of office’.

While in Los Cabos the family stayed at a luxury private resort, where they were spotted enjoying a dip in the pool and lounging on sunbeds, as well as being ferried round in a private golf cart. 

Presley Gerber, who only split from his ex-girlfriend Lexi Wood a mere two weeks ago, was also seen walking hand in hand on the beach with a mystery woman. 

Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler, who recently shot to fame as the star of the Elvis biopic, have been together for almost a year. The pair started dating following Butlers split from his famous girlfriend of almost a decade, Vanessa Hudgens.

Cindy Crawford, who has long been an international supermodel famous for appearing on the likes of Vogue, and her husband, also enjoyed lunch out on the terrace of their hotel with their children and partners. 

According to reports, the Gerbers are not strangers to Los Cabos and frequently vacation there during the holidays, and with their close pal George Clooney having recently been spotted there, it is becoming a haven for celeb faces. 

The Clooneys and Crawford remain close friends, with George Clooney and Cindy Crawford previously owning properties right next door to each other in Los Cabos. 

Clooney was in Los Cabos in November on a guy’s getaway, again with business partner Rande Gerber. They originally owned a villas complex named Casa Amigos like their eponymous tequila brand, however have since sold this after spending less time in the area. 

Also welcoming 2023 in Los Cabos is famous actress Selena Gomez, who was spotted with recently married celebs Nicola Peltz-Beckham and her husband Brooklyn Beckham, in a private Cabo villa on December 28^th.

With its spectacular beaches, luxury resorts and villas, world class dining and range of activities, it is unsurprising that celebrities are increasingly choosing to spend their holidays in Los Cabos, especially since it is just a short flight from the US. 

This year a whole host of well-known faces have been vacationing in the area, including Nick Jonas and his wife Priyanka Chopra, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hilary Duff and Simon Cowell. 

In 2022, Los Cabos also ranked among the top ten favourite vacation spots for celebrities, according to Parisian magazine L’Officel. It ranked alongside destinations such as Mykonos, Switzerland and the Amalfi Coast. 

Los Cabos is working hard on expanding its already large luxury offering. The region already has a range of stunning luxury hotels which are celebrity favourites, such as the One & Only Palmilla, favoured by Miles Teller, Nobu Hotel which has welcomed Robert de Niro, and Las Ventanas del Paraiso, which is loved by Justin Bieber. 

Los Cabos also has high quality dining, including Michelin star restaurants and the Sunset Mona Lisa, voted the most picture perfect restaurant in the world. Paired with activities such as private cruises and whale watching on the stunning Sea of Cortez, the destination is perfect for a luxury getaway.
