Simon Cowell Spotted Vacationing With Fiance In Los Cabos

The world-famous music mogul and his fiancé Lauren Silverman were spotted relaxing in the sun in Los Cabos along with their son Eric. 

The family appeared to be enjoying a day of swimming on one of Los Cabos’ beaches, where Cowell and his son, who is 8 years old, were seen splashing and having fun. Silverman was also seen emerging from the water in a bright yellow bikini. 

The couple first met back in 2004 in Barbados. However, Silverman was married at the time and subsequently kept this married name. She was the wife of Cowell’s best friend at the time, Andrew Silverman, until the pair were caught by paparazzi kissing on a private yacht. 

However, the pair didn’t begin secretly dating until 2013, and later announced they were expecting a child together. Cowell only recently proposed to Silverman on a romantic Christmas vacation in 2021.

Cowell cut a slim figure, according to witnesses in Los Cabos, after reportedly losing 60 pounds after being advised by his doctors to lead a healthier lifestyle. 

This is not the first time the couple has visited Los Cabos; they were first spotted in 2017 when Cowell was controversially seen in Los Cabos with his girlfriend Silverman and his ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour.

However, the America’s Got Talent host broke up with Seymour nine years previously, and it appeared that there was no animosity amongst the three as they lounged by their private pool in a villa in Los Cabos. 

They were once again spotted enjoying a Cabo vacation in October 2019, ahead of an appearance at a party for America’s Got Talent. 

Los Cabos Is A Celebrity Haven

Los Cabos has become the go-to destination for celebrities this year. Although it was popular with famous faces before, the popularity of the destination with tourists in general, as well as a rise in luxury hotels, villas, and AirBnBs, has meant celebrities can enjoy the sun, sea, and sand in privacy.

Earlier this year, Nick Jones and Priyanka Chopra were seen enjoying a well-deserved break in the area for Chopra’s 40^th birthday. The couple got to experience the best of Los Cabos while there, including relaxing on the beach, dining at luxury restaurants, and heading out on a boat trip. 

Although celebrities often visit Los Cabos for a relaxing vacation, especially those with real estate in the area, celebrations appear to be increasing as a reason behind visiting the destinations. 

A whole host of famous faces visited Los Cabos to party a few months ago, including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chris Rock, and Woody Harrelson. 

The RCHP have been frequent visitors in Cabo San Lucas over the years, with drummer Chad Smith previously owning a huge luxury villa in the area, complete with a private pool and beach, concierge, and chef, which he successfully sold last year. 

The authorities in Los Cabos are keen for this influx of celebrities to continue in order to cement the region’s reputation as a luxury destination. However, mass tourism continues to boom in the area, with 44 cruise ships expected in Los Cabos this month, each of which brings around 3,000 visitors.

Added to the current 70% hotel occupancy rate, due to the area being awash with tourists during high season, which began in October, Los Cabos is welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors via both air and sea.

To accommodate this, Los Cabos has been building a range of new hotels set to open in 2023, as many luxury chains are keen to make their mark in the area. Next year at least three new hotels are already planning to open, including a Park Hyatt, Four Seasons, and a St. Regis.
