Forbes Magazine recently released a list of their ten best all-inclusive resorts for families in the entire world. The Grand Velas resort in Los Cabos came out on top as the best all-around all-inclusive resort for families, according to their estimates.

This property has already received numerous awards from a wide variety of publications. In this particular case, Forbes did quite a good job highlighting the specific elements that make this resort perfect for families.

They referenced many of the amenities that are specifically beneficial to families—especially those who are arriving in Los Cabos with very young children.

Of course, Forbes could not leave out certain perks that the resort offers which can be enjoyed by any type of traveler, such as the fact that all of the suites at the resort feature an ocean view.

Plus, with their regular All-inclusive rate, all guests are entitled to unlimited premium brand drinks and high-end dining experiences at 5 on-site restaurants. There are also amenities that can be turned family-friendly upon the request of the guests.

Parents Of Young Children Will Truly Enjoy The Baby Concierge Service

One of the things that Forbes lists as an “all-star” amenity at this Cabo property is the baby concierge service. Essentially what the resort can provide for guests on the most basic level are things like baby bathtubs and cribs.

Included in the price of the all-inclusive though are also things like a baby bottle sanitizer and warmer. Guests can also ask their concierge for toys and things like teethers. Just in case the baby starts growing their teeth out while at the beach.

A quick disclaimer here, what’s not included in the regular all-inclusive price are the babysitting services. Another important side note is that all of these elements that are part of the baby concierge service are subject to availability.

Guests, though, are encouraged to email the resort with specific requests before their arrival. This will ensure that when they set foot in Cabo, their baby will have access to these aforementioned amenities.

Older Kids Have Access To New Kids Club Area

There are actually two separate kids club areas within the resort. One is aimed at kids from 4 to 12 years old and the other for teens from 13 to 18 years old.

The kids club is constantly holding different activities, from cooking classes to surf lessons. These vary depending on the day, so families are encouraged to pick up an activity calendar when they arrive at the resort.

This can help them make sure that the kids don’t miss out on the different activities of the day that they may be interested in. The resort also features a kids-only pool and splash area.

Teens have access to a more sports bar-like scene with pool and ping pong tables. There’s always contemporary music playing at this part of the resort.

Parents don’t have to worry about alcoholic drinks being served within this room, though. Younger kids can head to the kids club from 9 am onward while the teen area opens its doors at 3 pm.

Both parts of the resort are open until between 10 or 11 pm. Staff is always on hand to watch over the kids within the resort and in some of the activities like the surf classes.

Families Can Upgrade Their Stay At The Grand Velas

Perhaps one of the elements that landed the Grand Velas on top of the Forbes list is the fact that families can upgrade their stay at the resort with unique experiences.

Forbes mentioned that guests at the resort can book a private yacht trip.

These trips can be tailored to fit a family-oriented experience. Snorkeling in some of the waters near the hotel is also a popular activity that is offered to guests.

Both of these activities, though, are not included in the regular rate. Guests can book these and other experiences through their personal concierge at the resort or beforehand via email.
