New Award Places Los Cabos Among World’s Top Wellness Destinations

There are many fantastic reasons to visit Los Cabos, which consists of both San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.   

Beaches, food, luxury all-inclusive resorts, nature, and more are what attract visitors from all over the world, especially the U.S. and Canada.

The 2023 Spa & Wellness Award Goes To… 

This year Sound Healing Los Cabos was given a 2023 Spa & Wellness Award for its exceptional hospitality standards.   

The award was presented by the Travel & Hospitality Awards program.   

Sound Healing Los Cabos was one of the few travel-related companies out of 300 entries to receive the prestigious award.

The Travel & Hospitality Awards are an awards program that celebrates all different types of businesses that are part of the travel industry.   

It’s an annual awards program that awards restaurants, hotels, tour companies, and spas that have proven excellence in their industries.

Sound Healing Los Cabos 

Sound Healing Los Cabos is made possible by a team of dedicated professionals well-practiced in the art of healing mind, body, and soul with sound.   

The team is made up of founder and sonotherapist Javier Montiel Castillo, communicologist Wendy Hurtado, and yoga teacher  Paola Alejandra Calderón Sahagún, who was trained in sound healing upon joining the team.   

The mission of Sound Healing Los Cabos is to “Facilitate the inherent connection of each person with their essence through vibration and sound.”

How Sound Healing Works  

Sound healing, as the name implies, is a method of healing that uses a variety of musical instruments to help initiate self-healing through sound.   

One of the instruments used is bronze bowls, similar to those used for Tibetan Singing Bowls, which are known for providing the listener with deep relaxation.   

Some of the things that sound healing is supposed to help with are muscle regeneration, shoulder, and joint pain relief, improvement with circulation, and headache and migraine relief.
