Forbes magazine presented their list of the top all-inclusive resorts in Mexico for 2023 recently. They ranked some of the top hotels across the most popular Mexican beach towns in different categories.

Arguably the biggest winner was once again the Grand Velas Los Cabos which was ranked the best luxury all-inclusive resort in all of Mexico.

This is a title that the Grand Velas was able to retain from last year’s rankings.

Perhaps the most intriguing inclusion on this list is a resort on the Ensenada Blanca Bay south of Loreto. While this resort is, admittedly, quite a distance from Los Cabos, it is an incredible property.

This may be one of the hardest resorts to access out of all of the properties that made Forbes’ list. Its beautiful golf courses and typically less crowded beaches can make it a destination worthy of adding to a travel bucket list.

Here’s the full list of all-inclusive properties near Cabo that earned a distinction from Forbes magazine this year.

Grand Velas Los Cabos: Best Luxury All-Inclusive Resort

The 3 infinity pools that surround the main hotel building continue to be the staple of the Grand Velas resort in Los Cabos.

The swim-up rooms next to the large pool are guest favorites. There are 7 different restaurants on the property that each offer food from different cuisines.

You can add to that the fact that the Cocina de Autor restaurant is headed by a two-star Michelin chef.

On top of the dining options, guests can choose to relax and have a few drinks at one of the 5 different bars that are also within the resort.

If you want to enjoy a cliffside view of the Pacific Ocean, Miramar Bar is where you’ll want to be. The all-inclusive package for two people usually costs a minimum of 1,500 dollars per night.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Best All-Inclusive Resort In Mexico For Groups

The Hyatt Ziva in San Jose del Cabo is, without a doubt, one of the most luxurious properties in the region. Yet, most people may not have pictured this resort as being ideal for groups.

According to Forbes, the reason why they picked this resort as the option for groups is because the staff is always on hand to make people feel comfortable.

At the same time, the hotel features over 600 suites, many of which can accommodate multiple people.

Even if pegging this property as the best for groups may seem a bit odd, what can’t be argued is the fact that this hotel has something for everyone.

It actually features a kid’s club and water park that make it a good option for families. It’s also the hotel in the region that may offer the best fitness center, and facilities for people who wish to remain in shape while on vacation.

For travelers not so worried about their personal fitness, there are 7 restaurants to explore on the property. Rates start around 450 dollars per night at this resort, so it’s certainly more accessible than some of the other options.

Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto: All-Inclusive Resort With The Best Views In Mexico

As previously mentioned, this resort is hard to get to. Your best bet may be to fly to Tijuana or Mexico City and then to La Paz.

From La Paz, it’s still about a 4-hour drive to this resort. Travelers have to do all that to catch what Forbes says are the best views out of any all-inclusive resort in Mexico.

It’s hard to argue with them. The resort is located on a cliff overlooking Ensenada Blanca Bay.

The 18-hole golf course along the cliffside is certainly one of the biggest assets of this resort. From the course, you can catch some of the views that Forbes raves about.

It has 4 restaurants, including one in the golf course clubhouse. Plus, two bars, one on the beach and the other in the pool area.

This is important since there aren’t too many options to dine outside the resort because of its remote location.

You can book a room for two at a nightly rate of around 550 dollars for the all-inclusive package.

Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas: All-Inclusive With The Best Pool

The Grand Velas resort in Cabo could’ve competed in this category as well. Potentially in an effort to pick a different winner in each category, the Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas was awarded the distinction instead.

The pool at the Grand Solmar is meant to resemble a lagoon that overlooks the ocean. It also features a couple of swim-up bars for people to enjoy.

The resort has recently been renovated, so many of the rooms now feature modern designs.

Grand Solmar has 7 different dining options. Many of these options are grill spots or bars beside the pool and beach area.

Picking this resort as the one with the best pool starts to make more sense when you take into just how much of the amenities on the property are centered around the pool area.

The all-inclusive package at this resort goes for a little under 1000 dollars on most nights.
