A trip to Los Cabos is often an unforgettable adventure.

WIth over 20 blue-flag certified beaches, luxurious all-inclusive resorts, endless fine-dining options… This destination is, without a doubt, one of the most opulent choices you can make.

But as it often happens in these cases, state-of-the-art amenities and top-notch activities are synonyms with inflated prices and Los Cabos is no exception.

Despite this, tourists can save some money in several ways, for instance by making use of all the discounts provided by their travel agency or airline.

JetBlue is one of the many airlines offering such deals to its clients. With up to $300 worth of discounts, visitors now have an extra reason to choose this company. But how can tourists access this deal?

The deal

JetBlue Vacations is now offering discounts to all passengers purchasing a flight, hotel, or another service through the company’s official website.

For instance, travelers spending over $2,000 will get a $50 bonus by using the promo code 50INSIDER. Similarly, visitors spending over $4,000 will be eligible for a $150 bonus by using the 150INSIDER code.

In order to access the full $300 discount, people need to make a purchase of up to $6,000 and use the code 300INSIDER.

This may seem like a lot but it can easily be achieved by a group of friends or by a family traveling to Los Cabos and booking their flight and accommodation through JetBlue Vacation.

Tourists wanting to access the discounts are advised to do so as soon as these deals end by December 31, even though the flights and accommodations bookings are not subject have time limitations.

A few tips to save extra bucks

Of course, booking your flight with JetBlue Vacation is not the only way to save money on your Los Cabos.

A great idea is to book an Airbnb instead of an all-inclusive resort. These tend to be way cheaper than five-star hotels while also giving tourists access to a fully-equipped kitchen, allowing people to cook their own dishes from time to time instead of always having to pay hundreds of dollars for a meal.

Booking your stay during weekdays instead of the weekend is another great advice. Not by chance, most people tend to travel on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to make the most out of the weekend.

However, if you work as a freelancer and have no limitations in terms of days, booking your stays and flights on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday will help you save some bucks.

Lastly, visitors can easily save money on their activities by alternating expensive experiences with low-budget ones.

People can opt for a day sunbathing at the beach, hiking in one of the natural reserves in the area, or simply strolling through San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas to enjoy their days without spending a small fortune.

Three other convenient airlines

If for whatever reason you decided not to fly with JetBlue, there are still a few other airlines you can choose to save some bucks while getting all the benefits.

In general, all Mexican airlines tend to offer slightly cheaper prices without compromising on the service. AeroMexico, Volaris, and VivaAerobus are among the most popular Mexican companies, offering flights from the USA to Los Cabos.

It’s important to point out that tourists who are concerned about the level of safety of these airlines have nothing to worry about. In fact, Mexico was recently upgraded from a Category 2 country to a Category 1 country by the US competent authorities.

This is the highest ranking available, meaning that flying with any of these companies is just as safe as flying with an American airline.

On top of this, some of these airlines also offer flight subscriptions. In particular, Volaris sells annual passes, giving tourists access to unlimited flights to Los Cabos.

The pass is incredibly cheap and, even though the chance of having to stop for a layover is quite high, the benefits seem to largely outnumber the negatives.
