Anyone who has been to Los Cabos knows that the level of attention to guests’ needs is superior, and now the region is being recognized for offering some of the best hospitality in the world. This is not the first time that the Los Cabos hospitality industry has received recognition for being on par with the top markets in the world. Not only the industry in general but multiple resorts in the area have been sighted as going above and beyond for tourists visiting the cities that makeup Los Cabos.
In May of 2022 Trip Advisor awarded the Casa Dorada Los Cabos, Resort & Spa with the Travelers’ Choice Award for the eighth year in a row for consistently receiving great reviews from travelers. And 4 out of the 5 Mexican resorts that made it onto the U.S. News & World Report list of Best Hotels in 2022 are located in Los Cabos, including the One&Only Palmilla, a resort known for hosting all sorts of celebrities. If the recognition that Los Cabos received from these two events isn’t enough evidence of the world-class hospitality that can be found here, three resorts in Los Cabos were named as some of the best resorts in Mexico by the popular travel magazine Condé Nast as well.
More telling than any awards that the resorts in Los Cabo receive, though, are the numbers that prove just how loved the popular Mexican vacation destination is today. They have received a record number of tourists this year, going far beyond pre-pandemic levels. Just in the first quarter of 2022 alone there was a 13 percent increase in the number of tourists visiting the area, compared to 2019.
The most recent recognition that Los Cabos received for the outstanding hospitality and service provided by resorts in the industry comes from RCI. RCI, or Resorts Condominiums International, is a leader in all things travel, partnered with almost 4 million hotels around the world. The coveted Gold Crown awarded by RCI was given to 28 of the 35 affiliated resorts in Los Cabos.
This award is reserved only for the resort properties whose scores average 4.3 or above in five individual categories for the entire year. Those categories include:
- Check-In and Check-Out
- Hotel Hospitality
- Hotel Amenities
- Room Amenities
- Room Cleaning
Some of the hotels that have received this prestigious award include the Club Solaris Cabo Resort, the Hacienda del Mar Resort, and the Fiesta Americana Vacation Club At Cabo Del Sol.
Between hotels, resorts, and vacation homes there are thousands of accommodations available in Los Cabos and each one seems better than the next. Just recently an Airbnb in Cabo San Lucas, Casa Cielo Pedregal, was named one of the most luxurious vacation rental properties in the world. And the hillside Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Golf and Spa Resort was recognized for having one of the most beautiful views in the world by Trip Advisor.
There are too many awards given to Los Cabos hotel, resort, and vacation rental properties to mention, which shows just how dedicated the tourism industry as a whole is when it comes to hospitality. Los Cabos was ranked by the International Tourism Organization as one of the best places to visit in Mexico and there is a reason for that. Not only does the area have beautiful beaches, a rich culture, and an exciting nightlife but tourism providers offer an attention to detail second to none.
As the popularity of Los Cabos continues to grow it is likely we will keep seeing more of the same. New hotels and resorts are opening all the time, providing endless opportunities for an amazing Los Cabos vacation.
