Nobody has to be told that Cabo San Lucas is a breathtakingly beautiful place but what many may not know is that there is a resort there with one of the most beautiful views in the world. The Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Golf and Spa Resort has a lot of great world-class amenities but its most prized amenity, according to a recent social media study, is the spectacular views of the coast. Due to its location on a hillside, Pueblo Bonito is perfectly situated for endless views of the Pacific coastline.
In the study, one of the things that were looked at is how many times the hotel was mentioned on Trip Advisor with the term “beautiful views” in reviews by travelers. In this category, Pueblo Bonito placed first, with the most mentions using the search term. According to the study, there were a total of 2,280 different times that Cabo tourists stated that “beautiful views” were one of the things that they loved most about the resort.
Pueblo Bonito was followed by the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas, with quite significantly fewer mentions, coming in at 1,949. It’s no wonder that this Los Cabos resort made the list because with its hillside views guests feel like they are on top of the world looking down upon everything that makes the area so special. Views of the beach, the golf course below, and water as far as the eye can see make for a one-of-a-kind scenery that people come from all over the world to see.
Resorts like this are only one of the reasons Cabo is so popular among international travelers, as there is much to see and do in the Los Cabos area. This is why this particular part of Mexico is having such a huge comeback following the downturn due to Covid-19. The weather is mild, the beaches are beautiful, and the activities are endless, no matter what time of year tourists decide to visit.
Just during the month of May, Los Cabos hotels were still more than 70 percent occupied, and May is not even one of the busiest months for tourists in the area. Further evidence of the popularity of the area is seen in the number of tourists flying into the nearby airports. In the first half of the year, more than 2 million people flew into the three nearby international airports.
The largest portion of those that flew into the area flew into Los Cabos International Airport. The number represents a 25 percent increase compared to 2019, which was before the pandemic began. Now, with the busy summer season just beginning, even more tourists are expected to visit the amazing vacation destinations that makeup Los Cabos.
This isn’t the first time in recent history that Cabo San Lucas has made it on the list of having one of the best lodging destinations. Recently it was reported that one of the most luxurious Airbnbs in the world is also located in the popular vacation destination. The Casa Cielo Pedregal was named one of the top 12 luxurious Airbnb properties in the world and it too is located in Cabo San Lucas.
The increase in popularity of the Los Cabos area has led to the addition of new flights, particularly during the busy months of the year. Most recently announced were new Iberojet flights starting in July and Volaris flights in September. As popularity continues to grow, we will likely keep seeing new routes added, making it easier for international travelers from all over the world to enjoy all that Los Cabos has to offer.
