Luxury Travel Intelligence just released its top 12 hotel brands from across the globe. Many of these top hotel chains feature Los Cabos resorts. Six Senses hotels took the top spot on the list for the third year in a row. This hotel chain, unfortunately, does not feature a Cabo-based resort. They are the proud owners of the Six Senses Laamu resort in the Maldives.
The resort in the Maldives is set on the tropical island with rooms that directly overlook the sea and is a resort that has been made very popular by a multitude of Instagram posts. From there, though, virtually all of the chains on the list feature Cabo resorts.
Las Ventas Al Paraiso Rosewood Resorts
At number three on the list, we find the first hotel brand that features a Cabo property. Rosewood resorts offer tourists the chance to stay at Las Ventas al Paraiso by Rosewood. The resort is located directly on the one highway in San Jose del Cabo. It’s right next door to the Cabo Real Golf club and overlooks the beach.
The property offers guests the opportunity to stay at different types of suites within the main hotel building. It also manages a collection of villas that are on hotel property. The ultimate luxury experience that this resort offers though is the Ty Warner mansion, a beachfront property with multiple amenities that is perfect for a family trip.

Auberge Resorts Features 2 Cabo Properties
Perhaps no other brand relied more on their Cabo properties to find a spot on the list than Auberge resorts and hotels. They have two Cabo-based hotels, which are the Chileno Bay resort and residences, as well as the Esperanza Los Cabos. The Chileno Bay resort is widely considered one of the most iconic lodging facilities in Los Cabos. One of the main reasons why it’s one of the properties that appears the most on Cabo promotional videos and brochures is the resort’s infinity pool that overlooks Chileno Bay beach.
Aman Hotels & Resorts
Technically speaking, it wasn’t Aman’s Los Cabos property that got them on the list. However, there’s certainly plenty of anticipation amongst luxury resort enthusiasts. Currently, we only have renders of the Aman property that is set to open in Cabo in 2024. It’s expected to be one of the most breathtaking resorts in the region. Mixing the Cabo desert with the beach area as a theme for the entire resort.
One & Only Palmilla Los Cabos
The One & Only Palmilla resort is a property that’s located on a cliff overlooking the ocean. It’s up the road from the Rosewood resort, closer to San Jose del Cabo city center. The hotel building itself is essentially covered in palm trees and plants. The plant life isn’t necessarily typical of the Cabo region, which features more of a desert landscape. The main hotel building and the resort villas all sit on the edge of the cliff providing breathtaking views for guests. Also, just like the Rosewood, the One & Only Palmilla features a golf course on the property.
Four Seasons Is Currently Building Its Second Cabo Property
Four Seasons is currently building its second Cabo property. This time around, they are looking to build a resort that’s closer to the main Cabo area. Their existing property, the Four Season Los Cabos at Costa Palmas, is relatively far away from Los Cabos. However, it’s a resort that’s crafted for people who are looking for a beach vacation in which you don’t have to leave hotel property at any point during your trip.
Viceroy
The Viceroy Los Cabos is another one of the local resorts that always finds its way onto these types of lists. Compared to all of the other properties that we’ve talked about, this is more of an urban resort. Of course, it features an impressive beachfront pool, like all of these resorts do. However, it sits directly on the San Jose del Cabo Malecon road.
You can get the best of both worlds with great on-property amenities at the resort while being a stone’s throw away from the San Jose del Cabo city center. The fact that 6 of the top luxury brands in the world feature Cabo resorts certainly speaks to Cabo’s relevance as a top luxury travel destination.
