One of the best parts about a vacation is you get to let yourself go and indulge in the finer things in life.
No more calorie counting or passing on a cold cerveza. When you spend your time and money going on an awesome beach vacation, of course you have to make it worthwhile!
One resort in Cabo is offering a new pass to give guests an opportunity to indulge themselves in some of Cabo’s best culinary delights.
The Villa Food & Wine Pass gives guests a unique experience with access to 4 different resorts to please their tastebuds.
How To Score More Drinks
Guests staying at Villa La Estancia will have access to the pass simply by staying there. The resort offers all-inclusive packages, and who wouldn’t want to take advantage of that?!
Prior guests may have purchased the Extended Privileges Plan, a food-only perk giving guests a vast array of unlimited food options in certain categories.
In other words, desserts were included. Alcohol was not. The new Villa Food & Wine Pass is the upgraded version of the prior plan.
But this time, it’s even better! Vacationers at the La Estancia resort can opt into the Full Board Meal Plan and immediately gain access to adult beverages at the other 3 sister properties:
- Villa La Valencia
- Villa del Arco
- Villa del Palmar

Access To 15 Gourmet Restaurants
The pass grants guests access to 15 diving restaurants spread across 4 resorts. These range from Italian to Seafood to world-class Steakhouses and everything in between.
Plus, you can’t come to Mexico without eating tacos, right? There is a taco bar simply called Taco Bar that is a must-visit on your Cabo trip.
For the most memorable option is perhaps La Casona, a steakhouse and piano bar, which ranks at the top overall restaurant in Cabo on TripAdvisor.
Neptune might have the best views of Cabo’s famous sunsets and the best ocean views are said to be at the Carbon Grill.
All of the bars and restaurants included in the Pass:
- Taco Bar (at Villa del Arco and Villa del Palmar)
- Neptune (at Villa del Arco)
- El Patron Mexican Bistro (at Villa del Arco)
- El Bucanero (at Villa del Arco)

What Is Not Included?
The Pass also gives access to a variety of entertainment, resort pools, and an assortment of activities. But you may be wondering, “what does the pass not include?”.
If you plan on resort-hopping, you will have to arrange your own transportation. Since you may be going for a fun night out with cocktails flowing, that’s the best idea anyway! Cabo does have Uber.
All 4 properties are luxury resorts and take pride in the service they offer guests. It is common practice to tip for excellent service in Mexico.
The Pass does not cover gratuity, so it’s always a good idea to bring some extra cash with you. Guests looking to stay in their room should be aware the in-room Honor Bar is not included.
Nor does the Pass cover the resort’s laundry or babysitting services. Patrons must also dine in at restaurants since takeout is not covered, nor is late-night room service after 10 pm.
