The Grand Velas resort in Los Cabos has been named the best luxury hotel in Mexico by Trip Advisor for a couple of years running now.

Trip Advisor has plenty of good reasons to choose this resort as the top luxury experience in the country. Even the smallest rooms on the property are 1,081 sq. ft large and overlook the Pacific Ocean.

What truly makes this hotel unique though is the premium offerings that come with their regular All-Inclusive package — and the hotel is set to get even better with a new and unique experience.

Their 24-hour personal concierge service is one of those things that’s included in the regular nightly fee.

The resort has plenty of restaurants and bars for guests to enjoy. Just paying the regular rate allows guests to have access to luxury dining at 5 different restaurants within the resort as well as drinks and snacks at the 3 different bars the resort has to offer.

Even though there are plenty of perks to enjoy already, management is always looking to add new experiences that can potentially keep guests coming back for another visit.

The brand announced that it will be launching a new perk for tourists who want to enjoy Cabo this summer.

Premium Breakfast In Your Own Private Pool

The new experience at the Grand Velas Los Cabos has become a staple at some high-end hotels.

Particularly ones that offer great honeymoon, or romantic packages. The possibility of enjoying breakfast on a floating tray as you swim around your own private pool is a dream come true for a lot of people.

What the Grand Velas is looking to do is to not only provide that experience but truly give it its own personal twist.

Floating breakfast

To be able to access this new experience, tourists have to book a room in one of the following suites at the Grand Velas Los Cabos; Governor, Grand Class, Grand Class Corner, Presidential, Royal, and Imperial suites.

These are the suites that come with a private pool which is necessary for the experience. What’s going to make this breakfast truly unique is not the fact that hotel staff will allow it to float around in your private pool. It’s really the food options that take this experience over the top.

Belgian-style waffles, lobster benedict, souffle with sauteed spinach and mushrooms, pancakes, hash browns, avocado toast, and Osetra Caviar are among the menu options that the resort promise will be available for guests.

Still, people staying in the resort can check with their personal concierge service to see what’s on the menu on any given day.

It’s important to point out that this experience will not be included in the regular nightly fee. The cost for this add-on will be 300 USD plus a service charge.

Other Experiences That The Grand Velas Offers

Apart from announcing their new breakfast experience, the Grand Velas has also put out their summer activity schedule.

These are activities that guests at the resort are going to have access to just by paying the regular rate. Yoga and Pilates lessons, for example, are going to be available for early risers that want to move their body to start the day.

Volleyball, Beer Pong and Aquaerobics are part of the midday line-up of activities in the main pool area. The resort has 3 infinity pools that guests can enjoy.

It’s a good idea to check with hotel staff to be sure of where these activities are going to be taking place.

Even if guests don’t book the pool breakfast experience, they can have access to other food-related activities.

Tequila, Mezcal, and wine tastings take place at the Miramar Bar around 5 o’clock every day. Guests would do well to check their calendars to see what’s on the menu on that front each day of the week.

The spa treatments and local rituals offered in the wellness center, along with tours out to different parts of Cabo, are also going to be available throughout the entire summer.

These experiences, though, are going to come at an extra cost, just like the new breakfast option.
