While Los Cabos has always been known for great restaurants, it has opened ten new restaurants in the first quarter. These openings are proof that Los Cabos tourism is growing strong after the pandemic and open for business.

According to the National Chamber of the Industry of Restaurants and Spicy Foods (canirac) in Baja California Sur, 10 new restaurants have opened around the Los Cabos area. YAYA

This restaurant is located in the Chileno Bay Resort and Residences. Yaya is known for Mediterranean cuisine with Californian and Latin American influences. Everything is made from scratch with live fire traditions for cooking. You will find a lot of tastes from Morocco, Lebanon, and Palestine. Yaya is known for their flatbread and use of spices and vegetables.

Yaya is located at the heart of the resort with views of the property’s iconic pool looking toward the sea of Cortes.

La Taberna

La Taberna is located at the new Villa La Valencia resort. It is known for Spanish dishes and seafood paired with some of the best wines in the world. La Taberna is an open kitchen concept, so you can see all the cooking unfolding right in front of you. It is open nightly from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm and reservations are required.

Latitud Steak House

If a brand-new steakhouse your perfect idea of dinner, then Los Cabos has you covered at Latitud Steak House. It’s a prime steak restaurant using fresh local ingredients with high quality cuts of meat. Latitud opened in March in the Villa La Valencia resort and is open nightly from 6:00 to 10:30 pm, so call to reserve a table.

El Patron

You are in Mexico after all, so how about some world class authentic Mexican food!? El Patron offers traditional Mexican dishes and many other options for breakfast and lunch. In the morning El Patron is serving fresh fruit, eggs, chilaquiles, and other Mexican dishes.

El Patron is one of the best options you will have when it comes to lunch. They serve the best authentic Mexican food in Los Cabos. Dinner has cuisine options made with poultry, fish, seafood, and meat. You can have dinner with a great selection of wines, tequilas, and mezcals. El Patron is open for breakfast 7:00 am to 11:30 am, lunch 12:00 to 4:00 pm, and dinner 6:00 to 10:30 pm.
