Another great thing about Medano Beach, one that the location factors into is that this is where the best availability of activities is.   

Within just steps from the beach, you’ll find the marina, which is where the largest concentration of boat tour operators in Los Cabos are located.   

So if you want to sail the waters of the Sea of Cortez before or after spending a day on the beach, you’ll definitely be in the right spot.

Relaxing on the beach might be enjoyable for a certain amount of time, but who doesn’t love being able to take a little break from the sun and enjoy a frosty beverage?

What many first-time visitors to Los Cabos may not know is that many of the beaches in the region are not swimmable.   

This is due to the common presence of strong currents and large waves.   

But Medano Beach is one of the most swimmable beaches in Los Cabos, thanks to its calm waters.

Beach Vendors 

While the debate is still out in Los Cabos as to whether beach vendors are a good thing or a nuisance, they do offer goods and services that tourists want.   

You’ll find many legal vendors on the beach offering chair and umbrella rentals, water sports equipment rentals, food items, and souvenirs.   

On many other Los Cabos beaches, there are very limited vendors and services, compared to Medano Beach.

Things To Do Near Medano Beach 

Location also plays a role in being able to find things to do around Medano Beach.   

Particularly in the marina area that is located only steps from the beach, you’ll find plenty of attractions, shopping, and dining options.   

This area is also where most of the tours are, as well as water taxis that will take you to get an up-close view of the Arch and Land’s End.
