Luxury hotel Chileno Bay Resort & Residences has just announced the opening of its exclusive wellness experience known as THE WELL at Chileno Bay.

The Well is a global brand, and Chileno Bay is its second international location after it partnered with hotel group Auberge Resorts Collection. According to the brand, its offering is designed to provide guests with spiritual, mental, and physical wellness.

The Regional Vice President and General Manager of Chileno Bay Resorts commented that “For many, Chileno Bay represents a free-spirited playground that’s perfectly balanced by the calming nature of the wild elements around us.”

The wellness experience is inspired by traditional healing in Baja, California, combining modern scientific treatments with ancient natural rituals. The Well will have nine wellness rooms and wellness items in each individual suite and residence, such as LED Light Therapy masks, foam rollers, and exfoliators.

Inside THE WELL, guests can enjoy not only incredible architecture and design inspired by the ocean and desert but also a huge range of treatments, immersive experiences, health coaching, seasonal retreats, mindfulness, yoga, and meditation classes, and a rotating schedule of visiting experts on healing.

It will also offer signature classes such as COMPLETE, which is a combination of yoga and strength training, water spinning, and mindful movement. Upon entering THE WELL, each visitor will visit The Bath House, where local herbs, vibrations, hot and cold sensory experiences, and freshly prepared juice will start the day, known as The Attunement.

Guests can also make use of the Nap Garden & Reflexology Pool, which uses self-guided therapy to promote relaxation. The garden will have private cabanas, nap spots, and a menu filled with nourishing drinks.

Some of the varying programs offered by The Well include a four-day program known as Reset, which examines guests’ health via screenings to detect blood sugar levels, alcohol consumption, and metabolism and produces a personalized itinerary of treatments, exercise, and nutrition.

Among the many treatments available at The Well, the signature will be titled The Method, which is a five-step method that is said to increase motion and energy and improve aging and skin complexion.

Sleep is also set to be a high priority for the experience, from the Better Sleep program, which studies health data and uses a sleep mist, to the Eight Sleep Pod Cover in rooms, which uses cutting-edge technology to regulate and monitor body temperature.

The new experience could quickly top the list as one of the best spas and wellness retreats in Los Cabos, which currently includes spas at renowned hotel brands One&Only Palmilla and Nobu.

Los Cabos was also voted as being one of the most up-and-coming wellness destinations in the world last year, thanks to not only its range of spas and retreats but the many outdoor pursuits, activities, and tours which are offered, such as hiking, surfing, and golf.

There is no word yet on the exact cost of The Well or its programs; however, based on the high quality and extensive offerings, it will be the latest in a line of luxury experiences in Los Cabos. Currently, visitors with enough money can also enjoy private yachts, Michelin-star dining, and helicopter airport transfers.

This move towards luxury dining, accommodation, and experiences has been reflected in the rising prices in Los Cabos. The region is already the most expensive destination in Mexico but is also one of the places where prices increased the most in 2022, with hotel rooms now averaging more than $400 per night.

Despite the prices, tourists aren’t deterred, and 2023 is already shaping up to be a hugely successful year following the record-breaking visitor numbers of 2022, in which Los Cabos received over 7 million visitors.
