Millions of tourists have visited Los Cabos this year, and there isn’t just one reason travelers from all over the world love this sunny Mexican vacation destination.  In fact, Los Cabos, which includes San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, has so much to offer that it has become one of the most popular places in Mexico for foreign travelers to vacation.  While there are many reasons for this, we’re going to highlight the top 7 reasons why Los Cabos is exploding as a tourist destination.

Luxury All-Inclusives

Mexican resort towns are known for their luxury all-inclusive resorts, and Los Cabos certainly doesn’t skimp in this department.  There are 30 plus all-inclusive resorts spread out between downtown Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo, and the tourist corridor that runs between the two cities.  Many of these resorts are unlike all-inclusive resorts you’ll find anywhere else, with multiple gourmet restaurants, 24-hour dining, premium beverages, and exciting activities all included.

Connectivity – Flights

Los Cabos International Airport is super well connected, with direct flights available from more than 20 different U.S. cities.  Multiple airlines fly in and out of Los Cabos every day, and even multiple flights from some cities in one day.  The great connectivity makes it easy to plan a last-minute vacation to Los Cabos any time of the year.

Weather Is Perfect In Los Cabos

It is almost always a beach day in Los Cabos, with even winter temperatures typically averaging in the 70s.  In the spring, it is not uncommon to see temperatures averaging in the 80s and summer temperatures rarely going beyond the low 90s.  During the summer months, even though it’s the rainy season, the chances of getting rain are still only around 20 percent, so there really is no bad time for a Cabo vacation.

Wellness

With the large selection of luxury all-inclusive resorts to choose from comes a great selection of world-class spas as well. This, and the many other wellness experiences you can have in Los Cabos, make it a perfect rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation destination.  From yoga on the beach to temazcal ceremonies, there are plenty of unique wellness experiences to be had in Los Cabos.

Nature – Stunning Beaches

As mentioned earlier, the stunning beaches in Los Cabos are one of the number one reasons to visit, but there is other nature to explore too. The desert, contrasting beautifully with the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean, is an amazing place to explore, and there are many ways of doing so, like by camel or horse, for example.  Without going far, there is also a nature preserve, a marine park, hot springs, and more to explore.

Los Cabos Is Brimming With Adventure

With the unbelievably diverse natural surroundings in Los Cabos also comes the opportunity to enjoy any number of adventure activities.  Hiking, biking, snorkeling, ziplining, ATVing, horseback riding, jet skiing, and diving are just a few of the adventure activities you can enjoy.  The popularity of these activities has led to a growth in tour operators too, so there are plenty of options in various different price ranges.

Los Cabos Has Incredible Nightlife

The nightlife in Los Cabos is incredible, too, though the bigger nightlife scene is in Cabo San Lucas, where you will find popular spots like The Jungle Bar, Cabo Wabo, Mandala, and El Squid Roe.  San Jose del Cabo still has a fantastic nightlife scene as well, but it’s a little more laid back and has more of a local vibe.  So if you’re looking to really let loose, Cabo San Lucas is the place to be.
