Los Cabos is without a doubt one of the most popular destinations in Mexico when it comes to luxury tourism.

With all-inclusive resorts such as Marquis Los Cabos and Breathless Los Cabos, awarded by Forbes as the best Adults-Only hotels in Mexico, this locality has eleven out of the eighteen five-diamond resorts present in the country.

Massive hotel corporations, such as Hyatt and Four Seasons, keep choosing Los Cabos for its breathtaking nature, high safety levels, and the vast number of activities offered to tourists.

But what about those looking for a more private and secluded experience?

Here are three luxury resorts located near Los Cabos to escape mass tourism that will soon open their doors to tourists.

Chablé Sea of Cortez

As the name suggests, the Chablé Sea of Cortez will face the Sea of Cortez and will be located on a secluded beach nestled between two hills in the La Paz municipality.

Designed by talented architects from the Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos team, this establishment will run parallel to the slope of the hill, and its rooms will be positioned at a 23-degree angle to the slope.

With over 50 rooms to choose from as well as large double villas and an opulent Royal Villa, tourists heading here will be spoiled for choices.

On top of this, Chablé Sea of Cortez will offer its guests state-of-the-art amenities, including a spa and several restaurants.

Amanvari

Last on our list is the Amanvari Luxury Hotel and Resort. As its official webpage declares: “Aman creates sanctuaries that provide guests and residents with the feelings they so desire – of solitude, of being away from it all, but yet a sense of belonging.”

Located where “The sea, the wild desert, and farmland meet,” this upcoming property will be located at the edge of the Sea of Cortez, more specifically, in Baja California’s East Cape.

This tourist complex will feature a resort, private residences, a unique spa, several dining venues, as well as its own private beach.

Similarly to Vidanta East Cape, Amanvari will start welcoming tourists in 2024.

Vidanta East Cape

This new establishment is set to open in 2025, but the exact date has not been made public yet. Vidanta East Cape will feature incredible amenities, such as what is now being advertised as ‘the largest saltwater swimming pool in the world,’ a ‘Cirque du Soleil’ similar to the one present at Vidanta Riviera Maya, and an 18-hole Greg Norman-designed golf course.

Apart from this, not much is known about this upcoming opening. Hopefully, more information will soon be disclosed to the public.

Los Cabos’ latest openings

But what are some of the resorts that have recently opened their doors to tourists in Los Cabos?

Let’s start with the new Adult-Only Grand Velas Boutique. With 79 luxurious suites, a Technogym fitness center, a botanical-design infinity pool, and a private beach accessible to all guests, this is the ideal place to recharge after a long year spent working 9 to 5.

The resort’s rooms feature a contemporary Mexican-inspired design, 900 sq. ft. of space, and neutral colors. Some of their amenities include a high-definition flat-screen digital cable TV, aromatherapy diffusers, and Dyson hair dryers and straighteners.

Another resort that recently opened a new exclusive area is the Nobu Hotel Los Cabos. This new extension features 60 exclusive residences, facing the Pacific Ocean, all of which are characterized by the Japanese elegance and sophistication typical of Nobu Hotel.

Depending on their needs, guests opting for this resort can choose among four different property types: four, three, two, and one-bedroom apartments.

Some of the accommodations at the new Nobu Hotel extension feature private pools, while others have stunning terraces overlooking the desert of Baja California Sur.

Guests here are also given access to all of Nobu Hotel’s amenities, including its swimming pools, gym, spa, and kid’s club.
