Holiday getaways aren’t just limited to the average Joes. The rich and famous want to get out of their mansions and jet off to paradise too.

Although they may take private jets rather than the packed metal tubes in the sky we’ve all grown accustomed to.

Whatever the case may be, Los Cabos is the ultimate getaway for anyone seeking a vacation no matter your level of fame.

Out of all destinations in Mexico, it’s safe to say tourists are more likely to have a celebrity encounter here than anywhere else.

Whether it’s Britney Spears, Jamie Foxx, or NBA Stars enjoying some off time, Los Cabos is a safe haven for celebrities.

Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest celeb to be spotted on vacation in Baja’s trendiest vacation spot. Here is what she was up to:

A Luxurious Holiday Getaway

Christmas is just around the corner. If you’re not on vacation, chances are you’re finishing up last-minute shopping among hordes of procrastinators.

With the heart of the holiday season here, Los Cabos is jam-packed with vacationers right now. Local reports say hotels will finish the year with 90-100% occupancy rates at hotels.

If you’re galavanting around the area, you may run into familiar faces as Cabo is not just for your run-of-the-mill travelers.

As one of the premiere luxury destinations in North America, celebs need some downtime from their chaotic lives too.

According to the New York Post, 51-year-old Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted on a Cabo beach with her family in tow – including her two kids, Apple and Moses, along with her husband, Brad Falchuk.

The Shallow Hal actress was seen in a pink bikini chatting up an unknown woman as they strolled along the beach.

However, it was not determined which beach in Cabo she visited. As celebs tend not to venture out too much due to privacy concerns, one can only assume it was right outside their vacation accommodations.

Known for putting family before work, it’s no surprise this was a family trip, especially during the holiday season.

Later on after a beach stroll, the whole family was seen gathered catching some rays after her husband, Brad Falchuk, enjoyed some time kayaking solo.

Perhaps an impromptu self-guided whale tour?

No Stranger To Los Cabos

Gwyneth Paltrow has been super successful not only in acting but in business. In fact, some may know her for her wellness and lifestyle brand, Goop.

In her spare time between managing an award-winning career in Hollywood and running a popular business, she is quite a globetrotter.

Paltrow made headlines this past spring for an unfortunate accident on one of her trips where she was accused of injuring a man while skiing.

The court ruled in her favor for the only dollar she asked for to protect her image. What a cold play. Now that the lawsuit is in the past, she has all the more reasons to celebrate and splurge on luxe getaways like Cabo.

This isn’t her first rodeo in southern Baja as this may be an annual trip for her. Last year, she was spotted in Cabo on the more secluded East Cape – home to such resorts as the Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton.

What’s Next?

Paltrow has flirted with the idea of leaving the public eye behind for good. We’ve heard this from celebrities before, but she seems to march to the beat of her own drum.

Paltrow has let it be known she intends to sell her company, Goop, and also retire from acting. She was quoted as saying, “I will literally disappear from public life.”

Adding, “No one will ever see me again.” One can only imagine with frequent vacations if this is the new lifestyle she intends to strive for with less responsibilities and more beach days ahead.
