From September onward, tourists visiting the Baja California Sur trending spot can experience the best that Los Cabos has to offer.
During the months of September, October, November, and December, it is peak animal-watching season, the most temperate time of year, and the most festive part of the year.
Visitors can witness turtles nesting and hatching, see more whales than ever when whale watching, and so much more.
Recent reports indicate that the tourist numbers reflect this favoritism towards Los Cabos, and they’re only going up from here.
Hotel Occupancy Higher In Fall Months
Recently released tourism reports indicate that Los Cabos hotels will have an occupancy higher than 70% through the final months of the year (October, November, and December).
According to Lilzi Orci, the president of the Los Cabos Hotels Association, in September Los Cabos hotels had an occupancy rate of 52%.
Based on new reports, hotel occupancy rates are predicted to skyrocket in just one month based on several key factors.
The months of October, November, and December draw high volumes of tourists due to the wide variety of numerous sports tournaments and competitions, as well as several notable holidays and local festivals.
Orci noted that Thanksgiving and Christmas in particular are the “highest days of the year,” with people flocking to the warm destination from all over the world to spend quality time celebrating with their loved ones.

When visiting Los Cabos during the fall and winter months, you can participate in various local festivities, celebrate larger holidays, and witness various sports competitions.
