Cabo San Lucas’ $100 Million Corazon Cabo Resort & Spa is finally open and ready for visitors. Talks about the luxe hotel have been in the air since November 2021, causing a lot of buzz due to its prime location and modern look. The anticipated resort first opened its doors in February, getting things off the ground right before the busiest travel season of the year.
Wrapped in luxe, each of the resort’s 204 rooms features a unique, contemporary Mexican-inspired style, sprinkled with local artwork and distinctive cultural elements. Neutral colors blend with bright white to enhance the deep turquoise backdrop, where the skies and the ocean meet. All rooms have glass sliding doors that stretch from the floor to the ceiling, for constant views of the sea and desert landscape. Balcony views overlook the Sea of Cortes, directly leading to Cabo’s only swimmable beach, Medano.
The hotel features ten restaurants and bars, four pools, a full-service spa and a rooftop bar with unforgettable views. Among the restaurants within the resort is Los Cabos’ famous Aleta, featuring an oceanfront dining experience, serving fresh-caught local seafood and exquisite mixtures of Mexico’s finest veggies, herbs, and spices. On top of that, for those who fish, options are available to cook up the day’s catch. Visitors are urged to try the Mezcal Crème Brulé, executive chef Eric de Maeyer’s signature creation.
Corazon’s rooftop bar, Rooftop 360, sits on the ninth floor, towering over every other rooftop bar in the area. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and cliffs, settling in and watching the sun go down while enjoying a signature cocktail. Toward the edge of the bar lies one of the resort’s infinity pools, with views that span out as far as the eyes can see. As the night continues, Rooftop 360 has a DJ on hand that will spin as long as the vibe continues.
Apart from the many things that travelers can enjoy on site, Corazon Cabo Resort & Spa is also conveniently located next to some of Cabo San Lucas’ most sought-after scenes. Guests will have their pick of nightclubs, seaside bars, and shops and galleries galore. Many places are within walking distance, following the coastline along the way.
Of course, with all the luxuries that come along with a 4-star hotel stay in Cabo San Lucas, guests can expect to shell out much more during popular travel times. Some luxury suits come with a price tag of $800 and up a night, which doesn’t include any indulgences in the resort’s culinary scene.
The busiest time to visit includes May, though a lot starts to slow down mid-May to June, right before typical summer storms. October and November are also great options, with a drop in travelers and, sometimes, a drop in cost too. Travelers looking to book a stay can check out the resort’s packages, all of which include resort credits for food and fun and options to throw in once in a lifetime experiences like flyboarding or fishing in the deep, blue sea.

Guests that are flying into the International Airport of Cabo San Lucas can get to Corazon Cabo Resort & Spa in just under 20 minutes, taking advantage of arranged transportation or deciding to rent a car with one of several companies in the area. Mexico does not recognize international insurance, so visitors will have to add that to car rental costs if deciding to do so. Several of top-ranked car rental companies are available right at the airport, including Hertz and Enterprise, both of which come with lots of options for travelers with budgets both big and small.
