These 6 Los Cabos Hotels Are Rated Among Best In The World

French publication La Liste recently published their ranking of the 1000 best hotels in the entire world.

As we previously covered, a Cabo property made the top 3 on the extensive list. The Waldorf Astoria in the El Pedregal neighborhood in Cabo San Lucas was rated the second-best hotel in the world.

It wasn’t just this Cabo property that was highlighted by the French publication that typically ranks the best restaurants in the world. There are actually 6 Cabo hotels that made the top 1000 list.  

Waldorf Astoria Los Pedregal 

As we’ve mentioned, this resort came in second on the list. What all guests at this hotel agree upon is that the service at this property is second to none.

The staff will go out of their way to accommodate guests. Since it’s located on the cliffs that overlook the Cabo San Lucas bay with the famous Cabo arch front and center, you can expect some of the best views in all of Cabo here, particularly if you book a room that overlooks the ocean.

One & Only Palmilla 

At the One & Only Palmilla resort, what guests tend to rave the most about are the pools. They have a set of infinity pools that overlook the beach.

Guests have a personal concierge that they can talk to via WhatsApp to ask for anything that they need. That can include booking experiences or services outside the resort.

Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

One of the things that certainly makes the Ritz-Carlton Reserve hotel in San Jose del Cabo stand out is the way that the natural, desert-like ecosystem plays into the theming at the hotel.

If it wasn’t for the fact that their amazing infinity pools overlook the ocean, you may feel like you’re not at the beach. That’s not a bad thing.

In fact, if anything, this hotel’s theming takes advantage of that duality that Cabo has to offer, being a bit of a desert by the beach.

Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection

Saying that this hotel is on a cliffside overlooking the ocean is a bit too much, especially if you compare the size of the cliffs, for example, in the area where the Waldorf is.

Esperanza Auberge is more on a set of dunes that overlook the beach. It’s located in the tourism corridor, but it’s not necessarily near the main party area within Cabo.

This makes it a better spot for couples who want to enjoy some tasty cocktails at the beachside bar that the hotel offers.

You can also book a room with your own private jacuzzi on the second floor and beyond to get a better view. Some of the best sunsets in all of Cabo can be enjoyed here.

Montage Los Cabos

There are certainly a few things to like about the resort. For one, it’s located directly in Playa Santa Maria, one of the calmest beaches in all of Cabo.

It’s a resort that features multiple pools for guests to enjoy. Spacious rooms with modern amenities, just like all of the options that you’re going to find on this list.
