Fall is a great time for a relaxing getaway because the kids are back in school, and the weather is nearly perfect no matter where you go.

There are many places that are perfect for a fall getaway, and one of those places is Los Cabos, Mexico.

If you’re seeking fall relaxation, read on to find out three reasons why Los Cabos is calling your name.

Lower Occupancy And Fewer Crowds

Since fewer families are traveling due to the kids being back in school, and children in Los Cabos are back to school too, you’ll find that there are lower occupancy rates at hotels.

Additionally, you’ll notice fewer crowds in the destination as well.

This means beaches, restaurants, hotels, pools, and attractions are all less packed than during the busy winter and spring seasons.

Hotel Rates Are Lower

Since hotels are trying to get more guests through the doors during the low season, it’s not uncommon for many to offer deals during the fall.

While the average nightly hotel right is always fluctuating, right now, ahead of the beginning of fall, it’s down to about $430 a night.

This is compared to the average high season rate of about $550 per night, so if you’re hoping for a more affordable Los Cabos vacation, now is the time to book a fall getaway.

Warm Water Temperatures

While it does tend to rain a little more in Los Cabos during the fall months, there are still plenty of sunny days in the destination, which gets about 320 days of sunshine annually.

Along with the warm, sunny days, with temperatures in the 80s, fall, particularly in September, is also when the water is the warmest.

It can get up to 83 degrees or more, making it perfect for swimming and water activities.

What About Hurricane Season?

While September, October, and November all still fall within the annual hurricane season in Los Cabos, the chances of one hitting the destination are slim.

Only a few major hurricanes have made landfall in Los Cabos over the years.

While the possibility is still there, it’s rare for it to happen.

You can also protect your vacation if you should hit by investing in travel insurance ahead of your trip.

How To Find The Best Fall Hotel Deals

Every traveler knows that there are many ways to book a hotel.

You can book by phone, through an online travel agent website, or directly through the hotel itself.

The way to get the best deal is by comparing rates from all different sources before booking.

Often you’ll find deals through hotel websites that they only offer when you book directly, but some do lower their rates on sites like Booking.com too.

This is why it’s important to look everywhere when you’re trying to find a deal.

Fall is a great time to explore the diverse nature in Los Cabos, with hiking, biking, ATVing, and horseback riding.

You can still enjoy boat tours, snorkeling, and swimming.
