Luxury travelers to Los Cabos are eagerly awaiting the opening of what is expected to be one of the top posh resorts to hit the tip of Baja California Sur – the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo del Sol.

However, if a traveler plans to stay at the resort which could definitely set a new standard for luxury in Los Cabos, it’s going to cost them.

Luxury Stay at a Luxury Price

It’s going to be an expensive stay to get a room at the new Four Seasons Resort at Cabo del Sol.

Just looking at shortly after the May 1 opening shows the prepaid room rate for two adults from May 15 to 18 at $1,380 per night for the ocean view casita room. The regular rate for those dates is $1725 per night.

Looking for a room that includes a plunge pool? Travelers will be over $2,000 per night for our fictional vacation getaway with the extra amenity.

Prices for anything bigger than that, including three-bedroom accommodations, are not listed. Travelers will need to call to get those official rates.

The advanced rates do include a 20 percent room rate discount off the standard rates for the resort. However, the special rates are non-refundable.

The guest rooms at the resort start with 847 square foot La Casona rooms with an ocean view.

Meanwhile, the on-property casitas are 1,173 square feet and 1,765 square feet if a plunge pool area is included.

The suites at the Four Seasons Resort at Cabo del Sol start at 1,808 square feet up to over 2,000 square feet.

Travelers must call the resort directly to get prices for anything over the standard guest rooms at this time.

In fact, searching on the general Four Seasons website does not even include a link to the webpage and pricing for the new Four Seasons Resort at Cabo del Sol. Instead, it only shows the resort located near La Paz.

However, we will share the link here for prospective Los Cabos luxury travelers.

According to the resort’s website, the 1,800-acre community will provide gated access to the Four Seasons Resort at Cabo del Sol.

Guests at the hotel will also have resort access to the Cabo del Sol golf club, designed by Fry Straka, with reservations being made by the resort concierge team.

The resort is even offering special diving programs for guests on their website, along with a way to obtain proper certifications while tourists are staying at the resort.
