Nonstop Flights From The U.S To Los Cabos At All-Time High As Destination Skyrockets In Popularity

More Americans visit Los Cabos than tourists from any other country in the world, and part of the reason for that is its close proximity to the continental United States.   

That close proximity means that travel from many states is quick and fairly inexpensive, compared to traveling to many other international destinations.   

And now nonstop flights from the U.S. to Los Cabos are at an all-time high as the destination skyrockets in popularity for a number of reasons.   

Los Cabos’ Location 

The location of Los Cabos factors into the destination’s popularity in three different aspects, the first of course being that it’s so close to the U.S. that you don’t have to travel overseas to get there.   

But another benefit of Los Cabos’ location at the tip of the Baja Peninsula is its disconnection from mainland Mexico, which makes it a safer destination.   

Last but not least, the location of the popular destination gives visitors access to a number of other great destinations, like the capital city of La Paz and the Magic Town of Todos Santos.

Direct Flights To Los Cabos From The U.S. 

There are currently direct flights available from 28 U.S. cities to Los Cabos International Airport, and a number of new direct flights are to be offered this winter.   

From some of these cities, there are more than 100 nonstop flights to the destination every month.   

The cities with the most flights are Los Angeles (LAX), with 179 monthly flights, Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), with 115 flights a month, and Phoenix (PHX), with 94 flights this month.   

New cities that will soon be getting nonstop flights to Los Cabos include St. Louis, Kansas City, and Las Vegas.

Los Cabos’ Connectivity With The Rest Of The World 

Although the U.S. has better connectivity with Los Cabos than any other foreign country, Los Cabos is well-connected to other places too, specifically Canada.   

There are direct flights available from 13 different Canadian cities to Los Cabos currently.   

And a new direct route between Los Cabos and Montreal is to be added this winter.
