Just when you think Los Cabos has enough luxury hotels and resorts to serve its millions of annual visitors, an announcement for a new property pops up.
This time, it is a new luxury wellness brand that has just announced an upcoming resort for Los Cabos.
The new resort, the SIRO Palmilla, will be pretty unique compared to other Los Cabos resorts.
Let’s take a look at what makes this one different from all of the others.
The SIRO Palmilla
The SIRO brand is owned by the hospitality operator Kerzner International.
The SIRO Palmilla is the newest hotel from the SIRO brand. It will feature 120 rooms and 14 villa residences.
As the name suggests, the hotel will be located just over a mile from the well-known One&Only Palmilla, also owned by Kerzner International. It will be part of a new development called Palmilla Reserve, which is currently being constructed.
The opening of SIRO Palmilla is currently estimated to be sometime in 2027.
The Palmilla Reserve Development
Located at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, in the area surrounding the One&Only Palmilla, the Palmilla Reserve will be the first master-planned luxury resort development to hit the region.
The land already features a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus golf course, and when completed, the development will also have an on-site shopping center.
More importantly, by the time the development is done, it will be home to more than 900 high-end condos and homes.
A Wellness And Recovery Focused Brand
The SIRO brand is all about wellness and recovery, so the company’s resorts are filled with amenities designed to help guests achieve optimal physical and mental well-being.
They feature state-of-the-art “fitness labs,” athlete-developed fitness classes, nutritionist-planned meals, and world-class master personal trainers.
Every aspect of a SIRO hotel is focused on a holistic approach to wellness.
SIRO Accommodations
Even the rooms and suites within a SIRO hotel are designed to enhance wellbeing.
Each soundproof room features numerous amenities to help encourage restful sleep, including temperature-controlled beds, a pillow menu, and meditation and calming music playlists.
Rooms also come with recovery fitness tools, like resistance bands and yoga mats, and some suites even come with in-room fitness equipment.
SIRO Properties
Currently, there is one other SIRO hotel in operation and one more in the works right now.
SIRO One Za’abeel, Dubai is already open, and SIRO Boka Place, Montenegro is set to open sometime this year.
In addition to the SIRO Palmilla, the company is planning to open a fourth property, which will be located in Saudi Arabia, the SIRO Olaya, in the city of Riyadh.
What Kind Of Guest Is The SIRO Palmilla For?
Anybody can stay at the SIRO Palmilla, but it’s especially being designed for those looking to improve their overall wellness.
It will also be the perfect place for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and others looking to enhance their performance levels.
Amenities, accommodations, dining, treatments, and everything else on the property will be designed with these types of guests in mind.
Los Cabos As A Wellness Destination
While the SIRO Palmilla will be the only hotel of its kind in Los Cabos, there are other wellness-focused hotels and resorts.
This new property will be unique in that every aspect will be designed to address a wide array of wellness needs, as wellness will be its primary focus.
Los Cabos is known as a wellness destination, though, so if you’re looking for spa treatments, nutrition-focused dining, and mental wellbeing programs there are plenty of places that offer these things in the region.
If you’re looking for something on a higher level, the SIRO Palmilla might be the Los Cabos hotel for you.
