It might be a little more popular than you think, though, as tourism numbers have steadily increased over the last couple of years.
Last year was the best year yet because Los Cabos welcomed over 4.5 million international tourists, and the destination continues to skyrocket in popularity.

In addition to the 4.5 million international tourists who visited Los Cabos last year, a lot of national tourists visited the destination too.
Although the final numbers have not been released yet, the total number of travelers to visit Los Cabos in 2023 is far more than last year.
Somewhere around 60 percent of the tourists who arrived in Los Cabos last year flew in from abroad, and there are a few things they come specifically for.

Amazing Beaches
Los Cabos has a long stretch of coast along the Sea of Cortez that is just endless beaches.
The coastline separates San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.
Altogether the Los Cabos area has more than 30 beaches, 25 of which are Blue Flag certified for their cleanliness and environmental practices, among other things.

That is great for Cabo... not so great for those of us who have been visiting a quaint, fishing town in Baja for decades - that is now getting overrun with mega hotels offering all inclusive deals that will eventually push out all the awsome restaurants that have been there since there was one stop light by the bull fighting ring... which no one ever stopped for!
