Los Cabos has steadily been growing in popularity over the last several years, and during that time, it has grown popular for being a luxury vacation destination.

Known for its incredible beaches, stunning landscapes, wellness opportunities, and luxury all-inclusive resorts, the destination has become a hotspot for both Hollywood celebrities and tourists alike.

And now Los Cabos stands out among Mexico’s leading luxury destinations, for six specific reasons.

Beautiful View of Cabo San Lucas Beaches and Resorts

Luxurious Accommodations

There is no shortage of accommodations in Los Cabos, and that includes luxury accommodations in the form of both traditional hotels and all-inclusives.

There are numerous award-winning hotels and resorts that provide luxury accommodations along with luxury services like personal butlers to attend to your every need.

Some of the most luxurious accommodations can be found at places like the Grand Velas Los Cabos, which can run more than $1,000 a night this winter.

Spas And Other Wellness Opportunities

For the travelers that love to live in luxury, what better way to do it than relaxing at a spa or experiencing unique wellness treatments and therapies?

Many of the most exclusive hotels and resorts have world-class spas in them, and some even offer some pretty unique wellness experiences.

Sound healing therapy and temazcal ceremonies are two of these unique treatments you can experience when visiting the destination.

Fantastic Dining Options

You will absolutely want to try some traditional Mexican cuisine while visiting Los Cabos, and there are a lot of both casual and high-end authentic restaurants at which to do so.

But this is not where the dining scene starts and ends.

There are highly-rated, even award-winning, restaurants serving all types of food from around the world throughout the destination, including in some of the luxury resorts and even in some of the all-inclusives.

High-End Shopping

Just because Los Cabos is a beach vacation destination doesn’t mean you can’t spend some time getting a little retail therapy while visiting too.

Both Plaza Puerto Paraiso and Luxury Avenue feature high-end stores like Rolex, Hermes, BVLGARI, Tommy Bahama, Cartier, and more.

Additionally, you can find luxury items at the Duty-Free shops located at the airport.

Cultural Experiences

There are endless opportunities to experience culture in and around Los Cabos as well.

Particularly in San Jose del Cabo where you’ll find numerous art galleries and shops selling authentic Mexican clothing, jewelry, and crafts.

Additionally, places like La Paz and the Magic Town of Todos Santos are rich in history and culture.

Luxury Activities

There are all kinds of activities to enjoy in Los Cabos, and for those who seek luxury, even when it comes to leisure time, there is plenty to do.

Sailing, sunset dinner cruises, and fishing charters are some of the most popular activities enjoyed by tourists visiting the destination.

But for a true luxury experience, visitors can rent or charter a luxurious yacht for a day on the water and even have a chef-prepared meal prepared on board.

This one-of-a-kind experience is even offered by some Los Cabos hotels, like Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos and Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, for example.

Getting To Los Cabos In Style

There are currently direct flights from 28 U.S. airports to Los Cabos, so getting to the destination is no problem.

And if you want to arrive in style, there’s that option too, as JSX recently announced affordable semi-private jet service to Los Cabos from Dallas Love Field and Los Angeles International Airport.

Sample prices for these flights shared by the airline start at around $509 and $599, respectively, each way.

That’s a fair price to arrive in a luxury destination like Los Cabos in luxury and a great way to start a vacation.
