As the end of the year approaches, the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, also known as FICTURA, announced that Los Cabos was recently named the best destination in Mexico in the 21st edition of the Travel Weekly Readers Choice Awards.

After comparing Los Cabos with other vacation destinations in Mexico, Travel Weekly named Los Cabos the best destination in Mexico because of its major improvements in terms of the environment, gastronomic ventures, hospitality ventures, and more. 

Los Cabos has not only stood out in these ways but has also become a frontrunner in luxury tourism and sustainable tourism, which are growing increasingly popular with travelers.

In addition to being named the best destination in Mexico, Los Cabos has received 18 other awards throughout this past year. 

For instance, Los Cabos has been listed in Travel + Leisure’s Best 50 Places to Travel in 2024, named the best destination in Mexico by the Reader’s Digest, the Reader’s Choice award from Condé Nast, the Traveler’s Choice award from IMEX America, and many more.
