Recently one of the actresses from the hit streaming series Emily in Paris wasn’t exactly spotted in the French capital.
Instead, Ashley Park, who played the character Mindy Chen in the series, was in fact spotted enjoying the sun in the beach resort destination of Los Cabos.
Mindy In Cabo
Actress Ashley Park enjoyed some of the natural beauty found around Los Cabos in a break from shooting the popular streaming series.
She shared her vacation experiences resting in an oversized chair, posing on a fluffy sofa, and even running through a plunge pool in a blue dress on Instagram.
Ashley also participated in a game of ping pong and took some time to reflect on her creative side, shooting a video of herself painting an ocean landscape painting with distant mountains with some butterflies and flowers in the foreground.
She also connected with her foodie side by sprinkling some small candies in a frozen desert while it appears liquid nitrogen smokes off the desert.
“The absolute best days off, sunsets, and breaths of my life,” she wrote on her Instagram account.
A visitor can definitely tell that she was having a positive experience in the Mexican beach resort destination.
She included a hashtag, presumably of the resort she stayed at in Los Cabos, the five-star Grand Velas Los Cabos.
Celebrities in Cabo
Ashley Park is one of many celebrities that recently made a vacation getaway to the beach resort destination of Los Cabos.
Some of the other recent celebrity visitors spotted recently around Los Cabos included Kris Jenner and partner Corey Gamble and even Kim and Khloé Kardashian.
The Kardashians were specifically in Los Cabos to promote their brand-new line of swimwear.
Additionally, frequent Los Cabos guest Britney Spears caused quite a stir when she recorded a video of herself frolicking in the sand for Instagram.
Talent agent Cade Hudson accompanied Britney to Los Cabos instead of her husband.
The video of Britney rolling around in the sand has since been removed from the social media platform.
Promoting Los Cabos
All of the celebrities visiting Los Cabos are quickly setting the trend as Los Cabos as the place to be for a beach resort-style getaway.
While some of the visitors are directly connected to promoting Los Cabos as the upscale destination it wants to be perceived as today, it definitely makes the connection with the target Gen X and Millennial generations.
These generations are key to the future of Los Cabos as a resort destination, and their preferences and values are actively reshaping the amenities available in the area.
Ashley’s posts showed a different side of Los Cabos, more reflective of the natural beauty and upscale resort-style amenities available in Los Cabos.
Tourism Mission of Los Cabos
Los Cabos has been working to shed its image of being a party town popular with Spring Break college students. Little by little, more of that population is ending up in Cancun and Puerto Peñasco instead.
The Los Cabos Tourism Trust has been working to reposition the beach resort destination as an upscale vacation destination focused on three specific trends – sustainability, wellness and nature.
Those trends were definitely evident in the Instagram posts shared by Ashley Park.
Resorts in Los Cabos have been focused on developing this trend with international visitors by adding key amenities such as spa services, championship golf courses, luxury yacht trips, and even opportunities to swim with nature in nearby eco-parks.
Tourists that are fans of the series Emily in Paris will now be able to see that there is more luxury available around the world other than the famous city of lights in France.
