The winter months are typically filled with tourists in Cabo. Many U.S. residents love to escape to the Mexican beach town to enjoy warmer weather and some of the amenities that Los Cabos offers. Since plenty of tourists head to Cabo over the winter, it’s quite a surprise to find deals on flights to the region. Particularly from places like Southern California and Texas, which usually send plenty of tourists south of the border. However, there are currently multiple airlines offering flights to the Los Cabos international airport starting at $225.  

American Airlines Has A Deal To Fly To Cabo In December From Austin Texas 

American Airlines operates a direct flight from Austin, Texas to San Jose del Cabo and back. Currently, tourists who want to fly in the first few days of December could catch that flight for 230 dollars plus the different fees that the airline tends to charge. The same flight is going for 250 dollars for travelers who want to fly in the first days of November. A ten-day Cabo trip from the 6th to the 16th only sets travelers back the aforementioned 250-dollar price tag. This direct flight from Austin to Los Cabos, operated by American Airlines, usually costs anywhere from 350 to over 400 dollars.

Tourists from another Texas city, specifically Houston, may be able to find deals to head over to Los Cabos as well. United Airlines is currently offering deals to fly in mid-December for a tad over 300 dollars. Their Cabo flights from Houston usually start at 400 dollars. If you don’t mind dealing with a long layover, you may also be able to find deals on Aeroméxico flights to Los Cabos with lengthy layovers in Monterrey. Those flights from Houston to Cabo are only about 260 dollars right now.

JetBlue With Great Deals From Los Angeles To Los Cabos        

JetBlue is currently offering their direct flight from LAX to the Los Cabos International airport for 220 dollars. You have to fly to Los Cabos in the second week of November from the 6th to the 11th to be able to take advantage of that particular deal.

If you’re looking to spend the Thanksgiving holiday in Los Cabos, Alaska Airlines is flying the same route from the 22nd to the 30th of November for 281 dollars plus fees. That may not seem like the best deal in the world, but it should be noted most of the other flights on the same dates start at over 350 dollars per person. 

If you want to head to Los Cabos in the first weeks of 2023 from Southern California Alaska Airlines flight from the San Diego airport may be the best option. They are currently offering that route at 244 dollars per person in the second week of January 2023. Actually, if you travel in the first week of January on that same route with Alaska, you could find flights for as low as 234. It definitely depends on which day you decide to travel. 

Tips To Find Deals For Flights To Los Cabos 

There are plenty of flights to Los Cabos, particularly from Texas and Southern California airports. Ideally, you should begin to look for your desired flight at least a month in advance. Currently, for example, you can still find deals to fly to Los Cabos for Thanksgiving, as we’ve shown. 

If you’re open to flying on weekdays for both the departure and the return flight, you’re more likely to find a better deal. Even though you can find a cheap flight to the region, during the winter months in Los Cabos, it may be difficult to find a great price on a hotel. You may want to take that into account before you book a flight.
