More airlines are adding flights from Canadian cities to Los Cabos than ever before. Currently, 5 of the main Canadian cities (Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, and Edmonton) offer direct flights to Los Cabos. WestJet seems to be the airline that’s betting the biggest on Los Cabos. Offering multiple flights, mainly from Vancouver and Calgary, to the airport in San Jose del Cabo.
If price is what worries you the most, there are certain cities that offer nonstop flights to Los Cabos at a good rate, but you may still be better off taking a one-stop option. On average, Sunwing airlines seems to offer the most expensive direct flights to Los Cabos out of the other airlines that carry the route. Forcing travelers to figure out their cost/time ratio to find the best deal for them. Here are all of the nonstop flights from Canadian cities to the San Jose del Cabo airport this winter.
Montreal (YUL)

The Sunwing flight, which is the only direct flight from Montreal to Los Cabos, can go from $775 all the way to $1,855 CAD. The peak price is for the flight that allows you to spend New Year’s in Cabo, it contemplates a 7-day trip from December 29 to January 15. One-stop flights by American Airlines can go for as low as $575 CAD, but they include a lengthy stay in the Dallas/ Fort Worth airport.

Toronto (YYZ)
Flight Time: 5hr 35

- Swoop: Tuesday and Saturday
- Sunwing: Thursdays and Sundays
- Air Canada: Fridays and Sundays
For passengers flying out of Toronto, the Sunwing flight is currently going for around $765CAD. The Swoop flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays offer the lowest cost, only setting travelers back around $450 for a round trip.
As far as the Air Canada flight goes, that option will cost tourists right around $600 plus taxes and fees. For this destination, it may not make a lot of sense to book a one-stop flight unless you have air miles with United. The United one-stop option takes about 10 hours and costs over $500.
Calgary (YYC)
Flight Time: 4hr 33

- WestJet: Monday to Sunday
WestJet’s direct flight to Cabo is also the best deal that you can get when flying out of Calgary. The prices look to be fluctuating quite a bit throughout the last two months of the year. It’s possible, though, to find that WestJet flight for around $530 for a round trip.
Vancouver (YVR) to Los Cabos

- WestJet: Monday to Sunday
- Air Canada: Thursday and Saturday
- Flair: Saturday and Sunday
Flair offers the cheapest flights to Cabo out of Vancouver. For this end-of-the-year push, you can find flights at a tad over $350. They are currently offering the same flight at a bit over $200, you’d have to fly in March, though, to get that price. The WestJet flight is a wild card, you can find it within the $400-$500 range all the way up to $800, depending on the day. Air Canada, for their part, offers flights that range from around $600 all the way to over $1000.
Edmonton (YEG) to Los Cabos
Flight Time: 4hr 44

- WestJet: Mondays
- Flair: Tuesdays and Saturdays
Edmonton actually has the best deals to Cabo for travelers who want to head to the Mexican Pacific in November or December. The Flair flight can go for as low as $256. For their part, WestJet covers the same route for around $720. Keep in mind these prices could change considerably in just a matter of days. Booking on the right day could see travelers save some money on their Cabo airfare.
