There are some pretty amazing beaches in Los Cabos but what some travelers might not realize is that many of the beautiful beaches in Cabo are not swimmable.  They make for stunning scenery and a lovely day of sunbathing, but the water along the coast of many of the beaches has strong undercurrents, large waves, and steep drop-offs.  There are some beaches with calmer waters, though, some of which sit next to luxury resorts.

We’ll share the top six Los Cabos resorts with the most swimmable beaches so that you know exactly where to book if this is something that is important to you.

Villa Del Arco Beach Resort & Spa

Villa Del Arco is a family-friendly luxurious all-inclusive resort that sits right next to Médano Beach, arguably the best swimmable beach in Cabo San Lucas.  The luxury resort features spacious suites with a balcony or terrace, multiple pools, gourmet dining that includes five different restaurants, 24-hour room service, and daily activities and theme nights.  The price for a deluxe studio on a weekday starts at $575 a night and can go up to over $1,000 on weekends.

Pueblo Bonito Rose Resort & Spa

Pueblo Bonito Rose Resort & Spa’s claim to fame is not just being located on Medano beach, but on one of the most beautiful stretches of the beach.  The all-inclusive resort features a Greco-Roman theme and has three restaurants and one bar onsite, but guests also have access to two more restaurants and bars next door, plus the establishments and facilities at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, with complimentary shuttle transportation.  The price per night is surprisingly affordable compared to many of the luxury all-inclusives, ranging in price from $449 – $898, even on weekends.
