Luxury Travel Magazine just released a list of the 12 resorts across the world that they feel are worth the splurge. As is now pretty much customary, a Cabo resort made its way onto the list. This time around, it was none other than the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos resort. This resort is considered by many the best luxury lodging facility in Los Cabos. There are a multitude of reasons why that’s the case.
What Luxury Travel Magazine Highlights About The Waldorf Astoria Property In Cabo
Luxury Travel Mag is essentially promoting a 5-night stay travel package that the Waldorf Astoria is offering from now until the end of the year. There’s no other entry on their list that offers as many amenities as the travel package that the Cabo resort features. Some of these amenities include a private sunset tour aboard a yacht. Also, there’s a special champagne-tasting experience available to guests. This experience takes place on the Waldorf Astoria’s famed terrace that overlooks the Sea of Cortez. The spot has also found its way onto travel lists from acclaimed publications.
Cooking classes are also available as part of the package at the resort. If you’re not necessarily in the mood to cook for yourself, there are plenty of culinary experiences available at the multiple restaurants on the property. These go from the basic breakfast that’s included with the nightly fee at Don Manuel’s. All the way to what is described as a “culinary journey” at another restaurant on resort property known as “Su Cocina”.

This particular restaurant is overseen by a Michelin-star chef. The experiences offered by the resort go on and on. They even include an in-room bath ritual and an in-pool breakfast at a private pool facility. With all of these amenities, it’s pretty easy to see why the resort made Luxury Travel Magazine’s list.
How Much Is The Splurge?
According to Luxury Travel Mag, the best of the best package that they are essentially promoting on behalf of the Waldorf Astoria in Los Cabos starts at 25,000 dollars for two people. The fee includes a five-night stay at a Dos Mares Suite within the resort. Costs could vary depending on the type of room that’s available on a given date.
There are actually ways to book a more cost-friendly trip to the Waldorf Astoria in Los Cabos while picking only the resort activities that interest you. Potential guests of the resort can contact one of the many concierges that are employed by the facility to essentially create a unique experience at the resort that is not limited to the amenities offered by the Best of the Best package.
Average nightly rates at the resort go from around 1,200 on a weekday all the way to over 3,200 on weekends. If you contact one of the aforementioned concierges, you could potentially craft your very own all-inclusive experience at the resort with a personalized rate.
Other Destinations That Made The List
Other experiences that Luxury Travel Mag considered worthy of their list included a 007-themed getaway in the Bahamas. A Four Seasons resort on the island where the 007 film Casino Royale was presumably filmed is giving guests a chance to live like James Bond for a weekend. The other experiences on the list range from a golf-centric vacation in Phoenix, Arizona, to a getaway on a private island owned by famous entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson or a holistic retreat in the Maldives. All things considered, the Cabo experience offered by the Waldorf resort is actually one of the least expensive on the list.
