7 Reasons To Choose An All-Inclusive For Your Los Cabos Vacation Over An Airbnb

Airbnbs are a popular accommodation option for travelers from all over the world, and that includes visitors to Los Cabos.

Many people like them because they feel more like home, they allow travelers to prepare their own meals, and there are options for large groups to stay together.

But while there may be a number of reasons to choose an Airbnb, there are plenty of reasons not to.

In fact, there are 7 reasons to choose an all-inclusive for your Los Cabos vacation over an Airbnb.

No Scam Risk

Travelers that book an Airbnb over a hotel are much more likely to get scammed.

There have been numerous horror stories about vacationers arriving at their destination only to find that the vacation rental they booked and paid for doesn’t exist.

By booking an all-inclusive resort through a trusted source, like an online booking platform or directly through the hotel, you don’t have to worry about being scammed out of your money.

More Amenities

While you might have more room to spread out in an Airbnb rental, you’ll be lacking a lot of the amenities that come with staying at an all-inclusive in Los Cabos.

Butler and concierge service, multiple dining options, a place to grab an evening cocktail, and access to an on-site spa are all things that you’ll miss out on by choosing an Airbnb over an all-inclusive.

And they’re all the things that make a vacation special.

Access To Pool And Beaches

Not all Airbnbs have a pool or access to the beach, but most all-inclusives in Los Cabos have both.

Many of the larger resorts even have multiple pools, including kids and adult-only pools.

And beach access typically comes with lounge chairs and sometimes cabanas for guests of the hotel to use.

Added Security

The bulk of the security operations implemented in Los Cabos are concentrated in the tourist areas, which is also where you’ll find most of the all-inclusive resorts.

Airbnbs can be located anywhere throughout Los Cabos, so if you are unfamiliar with the different areas, you could end up somewhere you don’t want to be.

Furthermore, surveillance at hotels increases the overall security of the property, something that Airbnbs don’t have.

Easier Planning

Booking an all-inclusive resort makes vacation planning a breeze because everything is already included.

There’s no researching the location of dining spots in relation to your accommodations, entertainment and activities are often included, and sometimes even your airport transportation can be arranged.

Having all of these things included helps take the worry out of planning your vacation.

Better Locations

All-inclusive hotels and resorts in Los Cabos are no doubt strategically placed for the most part because their goal is to attract tourists.

This is why you’ll find many of them in the busiest tourist hotspots, like near the marina areas of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo.

And for those that want a more relaxing vacation, the Tourist Corridor offers a more peaceful alternative to the resorts right in the city.

One Price For Everything

When you book an Airbnb in Los Cabos, not only do you have to pay for your accommodations but a cleaning fee as well.

Add to that the cost of dining, drinks, and activities, and the costs start to add up quickly, as opposed to booking an all-inclusive, where you pay one price for everything, except for tipping of course.

This really helps with budget planning for your Los Cabos vacation so that you can just get there and enter vacation mode without any worries.

And that is what a Los Cabos vacation is all about.

I could NOT disagree more. The All-Inclusive market is putting the local restaurants out of business. Not necessarily the high end ones like Nic San or Romeo Y Juiliette, but the others. Last time we were in Cabo, every night we went to dinner there were barely a handful of diners there. Why would you want to go somewhere and NOT experience the ambiance and hospitality of the locals? Who wants to stay in the hotel for the entire trip?
