These Two Los Cabos Resorts Just Received Multiple Prestigious Awards

Los Cabos is home to many luxury resorts that offer fantastic amenities and world-class service, but some stand out above all the rest.  Various organizations determine which resorts are the best based on strict, extensive criteria, and two Los Cabos resorts just received multiple prestigious awards. 

Both resorts are part of the Auberge Resorts Collection – Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection, and Chileno Bay Resort & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection. 

Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards 

Forbes Travel Guide recognizes exceptional hotels and resorts with Star Awards every year based on 900 standards analyzed by anonymous professional inspectors.  For the 2023 Star Awards, both resorts were given Five-Star ratings in both the Spa and Hotel categories.  This is the eighth year that the Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection has received the award and the third year that Chileno Bay Resort & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection, has been given the prestigious award.

U.S. News & World Report Best Hotel Rankings 

U.S. News & World Report bases its Best Hotel Rankings on multiple factors, including awards received from respected travel publications, scores from TripAdvisor users, guest reviews, expert opinions, and hotel star ratings. 

For the 2023 Best Hotels Rankings  Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection was chosen as the #1 Best Hotel in not only Cabo San Lucas but in all of Baja California, and #3 Best Hotel in Mexico.  Chileno Bay Resorts & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection was chosen as the #5 Best Hotel in Cabo San Lucas and Baja California and the #9 Best Hotel in Mexico.

Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection 

Esperanza is located on the Sea of Cortez in one of the most exclusive areas of Cabo San Lucas.  It has six restaurants, five pools, and luxurious casitas, suites, and villas.  Guests of this Five-Star resort highlight the super friendly staff, one even saying that they don’t recall ever being treated so well by hotel staff, the fantastic food, and the breathtaking views from the restaurants.

Chileno Bay Resort & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection 

Chileno Bay Resort & Residences is located along a protected cove in the Tourist Corridor area between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, on one of the most swimmable beaches in Los Cabos.  It has only 60 hotel rooms in addition to its villas that range from 2-6 bedrooms, and it has four restaurants and a three-tiered infinity pool.

The spas at both Esperanza and Chileno Bay Resort & Residences feature unique wellness treatments based on authentic traditions and rituals.  At the Spa at Esperanza, you’ll find Mayan and Aztec-based treatment offerings, as well as acupuncture therapy, healthy cooking classes, a nutritionist, and 35 weekly fitness classes.
