Los Cabos has no shortage of luxury resorts.

Among them are award-winning properties that gain their notoriety from providing exceptional service and amenities to guests.

Some of these resorts win awards time and time again, giving them the designation of being the best of the best.

The Best Hotels In Mexico

U.S. News & World Report recently launched their list of the Best Hotels in Mexico.

Let’s take a look at the four Los Cabos luxury resorts that are among the best in Mexico, according to this new report.

Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal

Opened in the fall of 2019, the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal was also recently named the best overall hotel in Los Cabos by Forbes.

The luxurious resort features stunning oceanfront rooms and suites, each with a private terrace and plunge pool, in addition to larger accommodations as well.

Guests can indulge at six amazing restaurants, one of which offers some of the best views in Los Cabos, and a world-class spa for supreme relaxation.

It’s amenities like these that make it the best hotel not just in Los Cabos, but in Mexico.

Grand Velas Los Cabos

It used to be that you would never expect an all-inclusive resort to be one of the best in any destination, let alone one with so many super luxurious hotels.

Grand Velas Los Cabos is an exception to that rule though.

The AAA Five Diamond resort is the second on this list of best hotels in Mexico, and for good reason.

From the private terrace suites, and the multi-tiered infinity pool, to the Mexican-inspired spa and the gourmet all-inclusive dining at seven amazing restaurants, the ability for Grand Velas to go above and beyond is why it made the list.

Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection

The third best hotel in Mexico, Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection, is also in Los Cabos and is no less luxurious than the first two.

Situated on perhaps one of the most stunning pieces of land along the coast, this resort is nothing if not unique.

It features five fantastic restaurants, both casual and fine dining, spacious and luxurious casitas and suites, and five stunning pools, with one exclusively for adults.

Las Ventanas Al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort

The fourth best hotel in Los Cabos, and the fifth best in Mexico, is Las Ventanas Al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort.

Known for its artistic elements and its breathtaking coastline location, the resort has a lot to offer in the way of amenities too.

The eight dazzling pools, the nature-inspired spa, the elegant suites, and the four unique dining experiences give guests little reason to ever leave the property during their stay.

The Price For Luxury – What You Can Expect To Pay For These Award-Winning Resorts

All of these resorts are on the higher end.

Looking at weekday rates in August they ranged from around $750 a night for the Waldorf Astoria to more than $1100 a night for the Grand Velas.

The other two came in at around $1000 a night for the same dates.

All-Inclusive Or Traditional Hotel – What’s Best For You?

Only one of these amazing resorts is all-inclusive, so you must be weighing the options and wondering if there is a difference in quality.

The truth is, all-inclusives these days can be just as nice as traditional luxury hotels, as the ranking for the Grand Velas proves.

While all of these award-winning hotels offer amazing experiences, an all-inclusive provides the added benefit of a hassle-free vacation.
