Los Cabos, which means “The Capes” in Spanish, is a destination given that name because it is actually two destinations in one.
This includes Cabo San Lucas, or Cape Saint Luke, and San Jose del Cabo, or Saint Joseph of the Cape.
Additionally, there is a popular area in between these two destinations known as the Tourist Corridor.
Where you stay depends on whether you want to splurge or save, so read on to find out Los Cabos’ most affordable and luxurious areas to stay.
Cabo San Lucas
It may come as a surprise that Cabo San Lucas is the least expensive of the three areas that you can stay in when visiting Los Cabos according to data from the Los Cabos Tourism Board (Fiturca).
Cabo San Lucas is also the most vibrant part of the destination, known for its nightlife, restaurants, attractions, and water activities.
Additionally, this is where the area’s most popular beach is, Medano Beach.
