Los Cabos is no stranger to celebrity sightings. It’s no Beverly Hills, but as far as vacation destinations go, the odds are in your favor to see familiar faces as you wander your resort.

Earlier this week, Gwyneth Paltrow was seen enjoying some downtime in one of Mexico’s top beach locations with family.

Now, another A-lister has been spotted on vacation in Los Cabos too. As one of the top luxury destinations a short flight from the U.S., it’s no surprise this is where the rich and famous choose to spend their holidays.

For Reese Witherspoon, she spent Christmas with her family and then hightailed it to Cabo for some beach time.

Christmas At Home, New Year’s In Cabo?

The popular actress clearly had fun with her family celebrating Christmas, according to her official Instagram account, where she posted a series of photos. Even her dogs posed in front of the Christmas tree.

Given how Christmas and New Year’s are just a week apart, it seems as if she may be ringing in the New Year in Baja.

The question remains: who will be her midnight kiss since she ended a 12-year marriage to her husband, Jim Toth, earlier this year?

Although fireworks have been canceled in Cabo for New Year’s, maybe she has found a spark with someone new. Regardless, a cool drone show is in store that maybe she will enjoy.

The winter season in Cabo is super popular for travelers to take in all the festivities while also catching some rays.

Sometimes, it’s lost upon us that celebrities are people too who need to relax and recharge after living under a microscope in the public eye.

It wasn’t reported where she is staying or for how long, but the photos released by Page Six clearly show she is having a blast on her beach vacay.

Not Traveling Solo

Despite critical acclaim for her performance in the film Wild, where her real-life character travels solo along the infamous Pacific Crest Trail, this Cabo trip doesn’t appear to be a real-life sequel.

Multiple photos show Reese looking fit in white swimwear and all smiles with her crew with one woman appearing to point out the paparazzi.

The Oscar-winning actress appeared unfazed as she is used to being in the limelight as such a recognizable public figure.

Other snaps showed here appearing for either some beach time or pool time with a towel in hand, but most importantly what appeared to be an adult beverage.

See? We’re not so different from celebs after all. The 47-year-old entertainer seems to be in Cabo to have a good time and not for any business purposes unless she strategically squeezed in a beach day on her schedule before making any appearances.

In all likelihood, given the scope of the season, she is just like anyone else in Cabo, looking to start a fresh new year and do her best to leave her stresses in 2023.

What’s Next For Reese?

Rumors swirled online that Reese Witherspoon had a budding romance with another Hollywood heavy hitter, Kevin Costner.

Those rumors were seemingly put to rest recently with singer Jewel seen sitting on his lap on a Caribbean vacation together.

Unless Reese came to Los Cabos to escape a middle-aged catfight over a 68-year-old man, then it’s presumed she is still single after her recent divorce.

In terms of work, she has over a dozen projects on the docket as a Producer and 6 on-screen, according to IMDB.

Although, what her diehard fans may be looking forward to most is Legally Blonde 3, which is currently in the pre-production stage.

Until then, her loyal fans can catch her on The Morning Show along with co-stars Steve Carell and Jennifer Aniston.
