Netflix’s popular Selling Sunset series which follows the inner workings of a high-end real estate firm owned by the Oppenheim twins could be getting a Cabo version. Jason Oppenheim, one of the twins, has been the most vocal about the firm’s potential expansion to the Mexican Pacific. He recently told E!News that the twins were looking towards the Cabo region to potentially set up a new office of their now famous Oppenheim Group real estate brokerage.

While a Selling Sunset Cabo spin off may not necessarily be in the works at this point it may very well be in the pipeline. The original Selling Sunset series follows the activities of the Oppenheim Group’s LA office. The show has served to make celebrities out of the Oppenheim twins as well as their cast of real estate agents. The series is getting a spin off with Selling the OC premiering on Netflix on August 26. The five seasons of the original show are available on the streaming service already.

Jason Oppenheim’s Romantic Cabo Trip

Jason Oppenheim shared pictures of his most recent Cabo trip on social media in the last few days. Although the trip certainly had a business component to it, he and his current girlfriend, influencer Marie-Lou Nurk, showed that they still took the time to enjoy their stay in the Mexican Pacific. Their relationship has come under scrutiny by fans of the show since it’s seemingly the first serious relationship Oppenheim finds himself in after his break-up from Chrishell Stause. One of the firm’s real estate agents that also gained celebrity status thanks to the show. Both the original series, and the OC spinoff are set to feature plenty of drama surrounding this issue, for their upcoming seasons.

The Show Was Filmed In Casa Ocho In San Jose del Cabo

Back to his most recent trip to Cabo, Jason posted pictures of himself showing off his beach body in white swimming trunks and sandals. The picture was taken in one of Cabo San Lucas’ most well known beachside resorts. He even captioned the picture, “In Cabo for the weekend to catch a little sun and do a little business.”

Jason had also posted a video of different spots that he visited in Cabo. Many of these spots, again happened to be some of the most recognizable Cabo San Lucas resorts. It does seem that he is seriously looking to open up an Oppenheim Group office in Cabo San Lucas.

Jason’s Girlfriend Also Showed Off Their Cabo Vacation

In most of the pictures that Jason posted of himself he had to have had a photographer. It’s unlikely that he got help from hotel staff; instead, Marie-Lou Nurk was there with the assist. She knows a thing or two about social media herself and could potentially be quite the asset to the Oppenheim twins’ business if Jason plays his cards right.

Cabo Resort

For her part Marie-Lou shared a couple of selfies, she took in Cabo. It’s actually through her post that we figured out the pair spent 3 nights in the Mexican Pacific. You can also see the infinity pool and lounge area from the resort that they stayed at, which may give away exactly where the couple spent their Cabo getaway.

Is A Cabo Version of Selling Sunset Likely?

Jason actually answered a related question on his Instagram stories recently. He mentioned that the continuation of the original show as well as the OC spinoff will depend on the number of viewers it gets on the streaming service. He also mentioned that he took the idea to Netflix directly to do a spinoff OC show when he opened up a new office in the area. As he is currently heavily promoting the company’s Cabo expansion it seems likely that he’ll at least pitch the Cabo based show to Netflix.
