Luxury Incoming! 2 New Resorts Announced For Los Cabos

There are plenty of luxury resorts to choose from in Los Cabos, and the number keeps growing year after year as the destination continues to explode in popularity.   

There are currently around 20,000 hotel rooms in Los Cabos, and more are being built.   

Additionally, two new luxury resort projects for Los Cabos have been announced, adding another 750 rooms to that inventory. 

Here are the details regarding this exciting new project in Los Cabos, a destination that gets millions of tourists every year.   

The Hospitality Company Behind The Hotels 

The new hotels that will begin being developed in the near future will be part of the Tafer Hotels & Resorts family.   

Before becoming Tafer Hotels & Resorts, the company was called Villa Group Resorts.   

Under both names, the company has been in the hospitality industry for over 40 years.   

Tafer Hotels & Resorts In Mexico And Beyond 

Tafer Hotels & Resorts has a total of eight hotels in Mexico, with more than 4,000 rooms between them.   

The company is currently planning further expansions in Mexico and future development in the Caribbean.   

With these projects, Tafer Hotels plans to add an additional 2,000 rooms to its inventory by 2028.  

Tafer Hotels & Resorts In Los Cabos  

There is currently one Tafer Hotels & Resorts property in Los Cabos.   

It’s a well-known luxury resort that’s been open since 2008, called Garza Blanca Los Cabos.   

Garza Blanca is a five-star all-inclusive that has been rated one of the best hotels in Los Cabos on several occasions.

Located about midway between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, along the Tourist Corridor, Garza Blanca Los Cabos is just a short drive from some of the area’s best swimmable beaches.   

It also has eight stunning pools from which to enjoy the unbelievable Cabo weather.   

What really makes Garza Blanca Los Cabos so special, though, is the luxury all-inclusive service that includes a gourmet culinary program and a creative mixology offering.   

The New Hotels 

Although there is little information on the two new Tafer Hotels & Resorts properties that will be developed, it is known that the rooms between them will add up to about 750.   

President of Tafer Hotels & Resorts, Fernando Gonzalez Corona, also released a few other details about what to expect from these new hotels.   

Specifically, he mentioned that the hotels would offer gourmet dining and “first-class comforts.”   

The Location 

It’s also been divulged that the new Tafer hotels will be located within the exclusive Diamante resort community.  Diamante is located to the west of downtown Cabo San Lucas.   

It sits along the coast of the Pacific Ocean, with unbelievable views of the sea.   

Diamante is located just over 30 miles from Los Cabos International Airport.   

It’s in the perfect location to enjoy a little more seclusion, while still being close enough to enjoy all that Cabo San Lucas has to offer.   

The Diamante Resort Community 

The exclusive Diamante resort community is a massive 1,500-acre property that features resort accommodations and vacation residences, as well as a long list of on-site amenities.   

It sits on 1.5 miles of beach that surrounds its very own 10-acre saltwater lagoon.   

It also has a lagoon restaurant, complete with a swim-up bar, a water park, a fitness center with a lap pool, a spa, a kids club, and multiple other restaurants.   

Perhaps the most distinguishing feature, though, is the two world-class golf courses, both designed by PGA championship golf pros, one of which is Tiger Woods.   

Diamante is truly an exclusive resort community, and soon it will have two new exclusive luxury hotels.
