We have always known that Los Cabos is a place where everyone can feel welcome, but this summer is going to be truly historic.
We are getting ready to celebrate diversity in a big way as the municipality prepares for one of its most significant cultural events of the year.
This upcoming celebration is a powerful reminder that our destination thrives when every visitor feels safe and celebrated for exactly who they are.

🏳️🌈 “Unity that Resists, Love that Liberates”
The heart of the season is the 21st Historic LGBTQ+ Pride March, and the motto for 2026 is all about community strength and visibility.
We are seeing incredible support from the local government this year. The XV City Council and Mayor Christian Agúndez Gómez have made it a priority to ensure this administration remains inclusive and safe for all residents and visitors.

📍 Mark Your Calendars for June 20
We are expecting a massive turnout for the march on Saturday, June 20, and it is shaping up to be a milestone for the region.
- The Start: The event kicks off at 6:00 p.m. at the Cultural Pavilion of the Republic.
- The Route: The movement will travel through the streets and finish at the Plaza Amelia Wilkes.
- The Show: The night will culminate with a high-level artistic event featuring famous drag artists and local talent.
- The Crowd: Organizers project that approximately 13,000 people will participate in the festivities this year.

📈 One in Five Visitors is LGBTQ+
We were blown away by the latest data shared by FITURCA (the Tourism Trust) regarding our local tourism community.
Current statistics indicate that 21% of our tourists—which is one out of every five visitors—identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. This massive segment makes Los Cabos an international benchmark for inclusive travel and a preferred retreat for high-spending travelers.

🚌 Free Rides and Inclusive Spaces
We love that this celebration is being designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of where they are staying on the peninsula.
Through a partnership with Cactus Tours and local businesses like “Bar Ligaya,” there will be free transportation available for the public. This allows people from all over the municipality, including San José del Cabo, to join the celebration in Cabo San Lucas without any logistical stress.
We are proud to see Cabo leading the way with such a vibrant and inclusive strategy for 2026.
