Los Cabos is one of the best destinations to visit at the beginning of the year. The weather in Cabo during January, February, and March tends to be mild without too many rainy days. At the same time, these are usually the best months for whale watching in the region. Travelers who are able to take a vacation within the first weeks of the year are also going to be able to benefit from the low rates that certain airlines are offering on flights to the Mexican Pacific.

This winter, there are some great deals across the board. Here are some of the routes from US cities to Los Cabos at incredibly low rates.

1) Round Trip Frontier Airlines Flying Direct From Denver To Los Cabos

Frontier Airlines is operating direct flights to Los Cabos this winter for under 200 dollars. The base fee for their flights taking off Saturday and Monday from the Denver airport starts at 180 dollars. The flight time is roughly 3 and a half hours. Make sure you choose Saturdays or Mondays to fly through the end of February. Keep in mind the base price for these flights does not include a checked-in bag.

2) Round Trip Spirit Airlines Direct From LAX To Los Cabos

Another one of the airlines that are flying to Cabo for under 200 dollars in the first few months of the year is Spirit from LAX directly to San Jose del Cabo. Thursday is the best day to fly with Spirit out of LAX. They don’t feature a base fee for these days, but the price of a round trip non-stop flight to Cabo without checked-in bags is under 200 dollars from now until the end of February. The base fee for these Thursday flights fluctuates from 183 dollars to around 195 at the end of February and into March.

Travelers who want to head to Los Cabos from other parts of the U.S. could take advantage of the Frontier route that flies out of Denver to Los Cabos. While the flight time will certainly increase, tourists coming from cities further east like Chicago can still find flights to Cabo for around 250 dollars through this route.

Spirit Airlines also offers similar deals for passengers coming from Kansas City, Missouri, and other nearby airports who can connect to their LAX flight. You can still find deals starting at 250 dollars for one-stop flights. In both cases, though, the time at the connecting airport can be significant.

NYC Flights To Cabo At Around 300 Dollars

There are no New York City flights to Cabo under 200 dollars, but considering how far NYC is from Cabo, a 311 dollar deal for a direct flight through American Airlines definitely seems like a good deal. To be able to access these deals, you’re going to want to avoid flying Thursdays. This 311 dollar deal for a direct flight from JFK is offered Monday through Wednesday and some Fridays and Saturdays as well through around February 18th. If you can’t catch those flights, JetBlue offers a base fee of around 340 dollars from NYC through the same dates.
