With Spring Break just around the corner, there’s no better time to start planning your next getaway.

Airlines tend to be stingy with flight sales during popular travel periods, so right now is a rare opportunity to score affordable flights for the spring when hordes of travelers flock the beach.

With a little help from the Points Guy, we did some digging and were able to uncover 6 major U.S. cities with cheap round-trip flights between now and April with domestic airlines.

New York City

Spoiler alert: You’re going to want to check out Delta for the cheapest flights to Cabo right now. Starting with the Big Apple, New Yorkers have stuck out another cold winter and can’t wait for a springtime getaway.

Unless you’re one of Manhattan’s elite, chances are you’re on the prowl for cheap flights. Delta has you covered from now through April, but the best deals seem to be mid to late March with round-trip flights as low as $365 from JFK.

On the downside, your returning flight may have a layover.

Seattle

West Coasters have a variety of options for cheap flights to paradise, but let’s start with Seattle. When you need a Vitamin D boost away from Seattle’s notorious rainy days, Cabo is the place to go.

Right now, Delta has multiple options for $293 round-trip. And the best part is flights are nonstop both ways.

Travelers can fly out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) March 5 – 10 or April 10 – 17 for an extra couple of vacation days.

San Francisco

San Francisco is an amazing city, but it’s certainly capturing headlines for all the wrong reasons as of late.

With an uptick in crime, it should come as no surprise that locals need a blissful escape to Mexico’s most luxurious destination.

As such an expensive city, San Franciscans can surely fork over a few hundred bucks for a nice beach vacation.

Delta has very affordable round-trip flights for weeklong stays March 12 -19 and April 3 – 10. Unfortunately, these are not nonstop options but a layover is a small sacrifice when only paying a little over $300.

Los Angeles

For Californians in need of a Mexican vacation, Los Angeles offers the cheapest flights to Mexico and overall best value.

Round-trip flights are super affordable for 7 or 8-day stays in March and April. Travelers can choose to fly out of LAX for a weeklong vacation March 12 -19 or stay an extra day April 22 – 30.

Nonstop flights are as low as $214 – an absolute steal to swap the bright lights of Hollywood for pristine Baja beaches.

Phoenix

While Los Cabos is certainly a desert oasis, Phoenix just doesn’t quite cut it for a dreamy vacation. Scottsdale is nice and all, but it just doesn’t compare to the immaculate beachfront resorts of Los Cabos.

Those looking for an upgraded desert getaway can fly to Los Cabos for $379 round-trip on many dates throughout April.

The most consistent prices seem to be the second calendar week with nonstop flights from American Airlines.

Minneapolis

There are few colder cities in the U.S. besides Minneapolis. The teeth-chattering winter weather surely has locals dreaming of a Los Cabos vacation, especially with affordable nonstop flights from Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP.)

This airport is home to budget airline Sun Country, with a surprisingly impressive network to many beach locations, including Los Cabos.

Direct flights from Minneapolis are $368 round-trip from April 5 through April 13. The best way to book and receive these fares is through Sun Country’s official website rather than third parties.

Even if Minneapolis isn’t your starting point, there are many connection options through the airline.
