Los Cabos may be one of the most popular Mexican vacation destinations in the country, but it’s also one of the most expensive.

Filled with comfortable high-end hotels and luxurious all-inclusive resorts, Los Cabos has become an exclusive destination for travelers from all over the world.

It has become so popular that average Los Cabos hotel rates are currently nearing the $600 mark, but there are many reasons for it being well worth it.

Three Great Locations To Choose From

Los Cabos is made up of two great destinations, Cabo San Lucas and San José Del Cabo, but there are three different areas where you can choose to stay.

There are great hotels and all-inclusive resorts in both cities, but also along the tourist corridor that separates them.

So whether you want a lively vacation where you’ll be surrounded by other travelers or a more peaceful, relaxing vacation away from all of the action, you can find it in Los Cabos.

Luxury Accommodations

The luxury accommodations at some of the hotels and all-inclusive resorts in Los Cabos are unbelievable.

Modern interiors, comfortable beds, and amazing views are commonplace in Los Cabos hotel and resort properties.

In some hotels, you’ll even find swim-up rooms where you can go right from your room to the pool in seconds.

A New Level Of All-Inclusive

All-inclusives in Los Cabos are on a whole different level compared to those in many other tourist destinations.

While all-inclusive style resorts have long been criticized for having subpar food and beverage and a lack of activities and entertainment, the opposite is true for many of the all-inclusive resorts in Los Cabos.

At many of them, you’ll find gourmet restaurants, premium liquor, 24-hour dining, poolside and beachside service, daily activities, nightly entertainment, and more.

Premium Food And Beverage

At many of the all-inclusive resorts and non-all-inclusive resorts and hotels, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the dining and beverage choices that you’ll have.

At some properties, even the fine dining restaurants that are typically not part of all-incisive dining in other places are included.

Furthermore, many properties stock your mini fridge with premium beverages on a daily basis and serve premium liquor throughout the property.

Safety And Security

Los Cabos is currently one of the safest vacation destinations in Mexico, with security operations commonly being implemented during busy tourism seasons.

Security officials take the safety of tourists very seriously and utilize officers to patrol busy tourist hotspots on a regular basis.

This has resulted in a safe and secure vacation destination where tourists being the victims of crimes is a rare incident.

Incredibly Beautiful Beaches

Finally, Los Cabos cannot be discussed without mentioning the area’s incredibly beautiful beaches, as they are the main attraction for tourists visiting Los Cabos.

Although not all safe for swimming, there are more than 20 beaches to visit while vacationing in the tourist destination.

No matter where you stay in Los Cabos, you’ll have access to these beaches, where you can sit down at a beach club and enjoy a cocktail or spend the day lounging in the sun.

Finding The Right Hotel In Los Cabos

While the average nightly rate is reaching an all-time high as it nears the $600 mark, there are more affordable options, depending on what you’re looking for and when you plan to travel.

Accommodations during the summer months tend to be less expensive and higher priced during the winter and spring.

So summertime is the best time to travel if you want to save some money on your Los Cabos dream vacation.

Love Cabo San Lucas and having been traveling there for the last 24 years! My Happy Place but many changes have been made in those 24 years….. No longer the sleepy village that was but that is okay! Wonderful restaurants and I have always felt safe when walking the streets of Cabo!
