Los Cabos is known for having some super luxurious resorts and rental properties.  Earlier in the year, a resort in Cabo San Lucas, Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Golf & Spa Resort, was highlighted for having one of the most stunning views in the world, and according to Forbes, the Waldorf Astoria in Los Cabos has one of the best outdoor dining terraces in the world.  But the most recent accolade that has been given to a Los Cabos resort, the Zadún Ritz-Carlton, doesn’t have so much to do with luxury but, rather, seclusion — because this resort in Los Cabos is one of the most secluded in the world.  

To gain an appreciation of where the resort is and why it is so secluded, it’s important to know a little bit about the location of Los Cabos and, by extension, Cabo San Lucas.  Cabo San Lucas is located at the southernmost tip of the Baja California Peninsula, which is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez. 

The Zadún Ritz-Carlton is about an hour away from Cabo San Lucas and a few miles east of San Jose del Cabo.  It, too, is surrounded by the Sea of Cortez in addition to the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains. The location of the Zadún Ritz-Carlton along the Baja California coast is what makes it one of the most secluded in the world, but despite its seclusion, it is not lacking in amenities by any means.  There are five different dining establishments that explore South American and Mexican flavors and serve everything from ceviche to tacos.  There are also a couple of bars, one of which takes guests on a journey through the mezcal and tequila world.
