Los Cabos is a hugely popular vacation destination that millions of tourists visit every year.

This is because the pipes through which the water travels are very old and can be contaminated, leading to contaminated water as well.   

You can brush your teeth with tap water but should avoid swallowing it.   

What Water Is Safe To Drink 

To play it safe, you should only drink bottled water when you’re visiting Los Cabos.   

This applies while you’re out and about, as well as when you’re at a restaurant or your resort unless the water and ice are purified water.   

You can find bottled water everywhere in Los Cabos and may want to stick to that to be safe.   

Transportation Issues 

The last big complaint from tourists about Los Cabos has to do with the lack of transportation to get around while visiting.   

Transportation is pretty expensive, particularly transportation to get to and from the airport, which is located in San Jose del Cabo.   

To get from the airport to Cabo San Lucas, you can pay as much as $100.

Los Cabos has launched several campaigns to try to improve the transportation situation.   

One of those operations involves cracking down on pirate taxis to protect tourists from potentially fraudulent or dangerous situations.   

The other is a surveillance campaign, which randomly checks transportation providers operating in tourist areas.   

This includes the marina, downtown, and hotel areas to ensure that they are providing safe and legal transportation.

Many are also celebrities who don’t seem to have any complaints about Los Cabos at all.
