Not by chance, companies keep adding new flights connecting U.S. metropolises to Los Cabos, allowing more and more tourists to visit this place.

But there is a popular airline that will soon offer more flights to this popular location: Southwest

The official announcement was made on Monday 4th. According to it, Southwest will soon begin flying non-stop from Los Cabos to Santa Ana, in California.

But this is not the only new route introduced by Southwest. This popular airline will also soon offer direct flights from Denver to Los Cabos starting in October. Prices and other details have not yet been made public.

Plenty of connections

With almost 30 direct routes connecting Los Cabos to several U.S. cities, Los Cabos remains one of the most popular destinations in Mexico. But what U.S. areas offer direct flights to this Mexican municipality?

Starting from California, the cities include San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. In Illinois, metropolises such as St. Louis and Chicago also offer direct flights, while in Texas, people living in Austin, Houston, and Dallas-Fort Worth can reach Los Cabos without layovers to interrupt their trip.

Other cities with direct flights to Los Cabos include Kansas City, Denver, and Phoenix.

Despite this, it’s important to remember that not all these places have daily flights available to this popular Mexican destination, as some airlines offer direct flights either only during certain periods of the year or on certain days of the week.

But why do famous airlines such as Southwest keep adding new routes to this location?

Why do so many tourists keep flocking to Los Cabos?

With over 40 thousand students expected to flock to Los Cabos for Spring Break, this destination remains one of the most popular in the country. But why is it so?

One of the main reasons contributing to Los Cabos’ popularity is the number of luxurious resorts and all-inclusives present in the area.

With places such as the Grand Velas Resort and the Marquis Los Cabos recognized by world-renowned magazines such as Forbes, tourists heading to this destination will be able to make the most of these properties with top-notch services and state-of-the-art amenities.

But luxury in Los Cabos is not only related to five-star resorts. With fine-dining restaurants, such as El Farallon, tourists here can try the latest creations of world-renowned chefs.

Not by chance, this municipality was recently included in the famous Michelin guide.

Apart from luxury tourism, Los Cabos remains a favorite destination for Americans thanks to its stunning natural landscapes.

El Medano, El Chileno, and Lover’s Beach are, without doubt, among the most scenic places in Baja California Sur, welcoming hundreds of thousands of tourists every year.

Not too surprisingly, Los Cabos is the destination with the highest number of blue-certified beaches in North America, for a total of 25 ‘playas’ certified to this high standard.

But Los Cabos is more than just a beach destination! With the Sierra de la Laguna Mountain Range and Cabo Pulmo National Park easily reachable by car, this is the ideal location for those wanting to immerse themselves in Mexican unspoiled nature.

Last but not least, Los Cabos authorities have made it their number one priority to ensure high safety levels to ensure both locals and tourists feel safe at all times.

For instance, just a few days ago, the local government announced new safety measures to better protect the many tourists expected to arrive in Los Cabos for spring break.
