Local business owners in the center of town report that days with cruise ship arrivals account for up to 60% of their daily sales. Conversely, on days without ships in port, their revenues can plummet by as much as 20%.

This massive influx of foot traffic directly supports local restaurants, boutique shops, transportation providers, and the independent tour operators offering everything from glass-bottom boat rides to the famous Arch to guided ATV desert adventures.
