Los Cabos is going to be the place to be in November as one of the most popular DJs on the globe hosts an exclusive event in the Mexican beach resort destination.

Chasing Sunsets – DJ Tiësto

DJ Tiësto hits the playas and pools of Los Cabos for a long four-day weekend on November 9 through 12 for an exclusive event.

Tijs Michiel Verwest, also known as the Grammy Award Winning Dutch DJ Tiësto, is considered one of the best DJ artists from the past 20 years and is known as the Godfather of EDM, or electronic dance music.

He has seven albums to his name; the last one, titled Drive, was released earlier in the year.

Calendar of Events

The four-day event opens on Thursday, November 9, with the concertgoers arriving in Los Cabos before a party on the beach is held to kick off the Chasing Sunsets event.

There will be dinner and dancing on Friday, November 10 at a show featuring Tiësto along with other performances.

Saturday, November 11 will bring a meal in a different restaurant location along with dinner and a pool party with dancing under the Los Cabos stars.

Some of the popular Los Cabos hangouts already reserved for the exclusive Tiësto Chasing Sunsets event include Cabo Mango Deck, Taboo, SUR, and Funky Geisha.

Additional boat parties, parasailing, jet ski accommodations, and tequila tastings are also included in the festivities.

The host property for the event will be the ME Cabo resort.

The Exclusive Event Package

The event is being sold as an entire package, including accommodations for three nights in some of the best five-star hotels in Los Cabos.

It will also include parties on the beach and selected resort pools, along with drinks and an exclusive event with the popular DJ.

The performers for the other shows are expected to be announced shortly.

Pre-Sale Starts May 2

A pre-sale for the event will kick off on May 2, and tickets will be available to the Tiësto Chasing Sunsets event in Los Cabos on May 5.

Three different packages are available for fans.

The general admission package provides access to all of the events along with select VIP events.

The upgraded VIP package includes access to all of the events on the calendar and extra VIP activities, such as happy hour events on Thursday and Saturday. It also includes access to a special viewing area.

Meanwhile, the platinum package includes a meet-and-greet session with Tiësto and a special Taste of Mexico brunch with the Grammy-winning artist.

The price of the packages and locations of the accommodations in Los Cabos was not available at the time of writing this article.

While Los Cabos is transitioning away from the party destination perception that it has with many people, this event will actually contribute to furthering the perception.

Although, the package aspect of this event will ensure a more upscale party audience that is willing to pay a bit more for this exclusive experience.

Planning Ahead

November can be a popular time to visit Los Cabos before the start of the holiday season due to the cooler weather. However, it is typically slower for families once students return to school in August and September.

On the other hand, it is more popular with singles and retirees looking for a bit of warm weather along with peace and quiet in their beach resort vacation.

Tourists planning on a vacation in November in Los Cabos may need to plan now to not visit during the November 9-12 long weekend to avoid the higher room rates and higher airfares along with the crowds and traffic.
