There are so many great resorts in Los Cabos. How is a traveler to the beach resort community to choose one set of amenities to enjoy on a vacation getaway?
With most of the resorts limiting access to their best amenities to their hotel guests, what are tourists to do?
How about those wanting to enjoy the amenities while staying at a local Airbnb vacation rental property instead?
There’s now a solution for visitors to Los Cabos looking to enjoy the amenities at the many different resorts at the beach resort destination.
The Los Cabos Resort Day Pass
Resorts in Los Cabos are now introducing day passes that allow locals and visitors to enjoy the amenities of the local resorts for one fixed price.
Most of them allow visitors to enjoy the facilities from the morning until the evening.
However, exactly what is offered for the day pass service varies from resort to resort in Los Cabos.
What Does The Day Pass Cover?
At some resorts, the day pass includes access to the pool and lounge service reserved for the resort guests.
Others can offer valuable access to the private beach amenities that the resort offers its select visitors.
Some of the more expensive day passes are at the all-inclusive resorts and are, in fact, all-inclusive!
According to Fátima Sánchez, a Management Assistant at a Los Cabos resort, it may even include access to a deluxe breakfast or reservations for a romantic resort restaurant with a view table, which is only available to guests at the resort.
Some of the resorts offering day passes in Los Cabos also allow travelers to the beach resort community to reserve other amenities for the day, such as cabanas, day rooms, day beds, spa passes, and special events such as chef dinners.
How Much Does Access Cost?
The price, according to Sánchez, is generally around $100 per day.
Resorts price their day passes according to demand and the services offered for the day pass charge. They post the details and the availability on the resort website.
Taking a look at the prices and amenities available on ResortPass.com shows prices ranging from $43 at Mar del Cabo resort to $346 at the Marquis Los Cabos Resort – All Inclusive.
However, most are priced at around $100 to $130 per day.

There are others available as well, but this is just a sample offering of those found easily on the web.
