Several beaches in Los Cabos just received one of the highest awards in Mexico for cleanliness and sustainability.

Five Award Winning Los Cabos Beaches

Five Los Cabos beaches popular with Los Cabos tourists were recently honored with one of the top honors in the country for factors related to overall cleanliness and sustainability.

The beaches of Las Viudas, Acapulquito, Santa María, Palmilla, and El Chileano all were recognized as honorees for Clean and Sustainable Beach, Platinum Beach and their Good Practices for a Healthy and Safe Environment.

The recognition was presented by the Mexican Institute of Standardization and Certification (IMNC), which used the Mexican national SEMARNAT Standard Certifications (NMX-120) as the basis for the honors.

Las Viudas Beach
